🗺️ Great Ocean World Map
On the Great Ocean World Map, areas you haven't visited yet appear darkened, and their region icons won't show either. To clear the shadow, you must find and visit that region's representative island.
🪙 Oquilla Coin
Oquilla Coin is the currency used in the Great Ocean, spent at places like the Shakatu Shop and for trading Great Ocean goods. You can obtain Oquilla Coin through various means, such as defeating Great Ocean monsters, completing quests, delivering fish, and appraising Great Ocean appraisal items.

⛵ Sailing System ▼ Expand
🚢 Sailing Level
Your Ship's stats improve as your Sailing Level rises, and more Ships become available to refit.
ㆍ You must reach a certain Sailing Level in order to refit your Ship.
⏱️ Sailing Endurance
Sailing Endurance decreases when you defeat Sea Monsters or Phantom Ships and claim rewards. If you defeat a Sea Monster or Phantom Ship after your Endurance is fully depleted, you won't receive rewards or EXP, and it won't count toward your quest progress. Sailing Endurance resets every Monday at midnight.

🧭 Wind Direction & Speed
You can check north (N) along with the wind's direction and speed via the compass UI on the minimap. Moving in the direction the wind blows lets you catch a tailwind and sail a bit faster, while sailing against it slows you down.
ㆍ When you catch a tailwind from the direction shown by the compass on the right of the minimap, the compass UI turns blue.
While sailing, you may come across whirlwinds that carry the power of the wind. When your Ship passes through one, it temporarily receives a large boost to sailing speed from this gust of wind. The gust applies to your sailing speed immediately and fades away after some time.
🚀 Speed Boost
You can use the Speed Boost button on the right of the Great Ocean screen to move at high speed.
ㆍ The Boost gauge fills faster while sailing with a tailwind.
🧭 Auto-Forward Mode
You can use Auto-Forward Mode to travel conveniently across the vast Great Ocean.
ㆍ Touch the movement controller and drag it upward to reveal the button for Auto-Forward Mode; move the controller onto that button and your Ship will automatically sail forward.
🎣 Shipboard Fishing & Treasure Salvage ▼ Expand
🎣 Shipboard Fishing
You can fish anywhere in the Great Ocean. Deliver the fish you catch to a port NPC to receive Oquilla Coin, along with Steel and Plywood used to enhance Ship equipment.
You can fish at Point Fishing spots wherever seagulls gather on the water, obtaining special items you can't get from normal fishing. Point Fishing raises your Camp Workers' Fishing EXP, and once the combined Fishing Level of your Camp Workers reaches certain thresholds, you receive bonus rewards.
ㆍ Fishing Level bonus reward thresholds: 200 / 400 / 600 / 800
💰 Treasure Salvage
Salvage treasure drifting across the ocean to obtain special items.
ㆍ Great Ocean appraisal items you obtain can be appraised through a port NPC to receive Oquilla Coin.

📜 Bounties & Cannon Combat ▼ Expand
📜 Bounties
Accept and complete a Bounty at a port to receive Oquilla Coin, along with Steel and Plywood used to enhance Ship equipment.
ㆍ Bounties don't just target Sea Monsters or pirate ships — some ask for Treasure Salvage or fish, and rewards vary by bounty.
ㆍ If none of the current bounties appeal to you, you can refresh the bounty list once per day.
ㆍ You can complete a maximum of 7 Bounties per week.
💥 Cannon Combat
Once your Ship is loaded with cannonballs, you can fire on enemies using the Cannon Fire button on the right. Press and hold the Cannon Fire button, aim in a direction, then release to fire the cannon.
ㆍ Fishing Boats cannot use cannons — you'll need to refit your Ship first.

⚠️ Outlaw Waters & Phantom Ships ▼ Expand
⚠️ Outlaw Waters
Ever since pirates seized the Kuit Islands, the western side of Margoria Sea has come to be known as Outlaw Waters. Riding this momentum, the pirates have expanded their reach into western Ross Sea and eastern Juur Sea, and in these territories the Marine Knights' watch cannot reach — meaning you must always stay on guard, since other adventurers can steal your treasure.
Western Ross Sea and Margoria Sea, and eastern Juur Sea, are Outlaw Waters where combat with other ships is possible.
Pirate ships appear in Outlaw Waters, and defeating a pirate ship or a Sea Monster causes a Coral Chest to surface nearby.
Golden Nineshark appears in Outlaw Waters, and defeating it grants the same rewards as the powerful monsters (Ferocious Ross II / Rough Margoria II / Merciless Juur II).
In the area where Golden Nineshark appears within Juur's Outlaw Waters, defeating a certain number of monsters causes 2 Coral Chests to appear together nearby.
👻 Phantom Ships
- Phantom Ships appear throughout Margoria Sea and Juur Sea, with up to 3 appearing at once.
ㆍ When one appears, an alert message lets you automatically travel to its location.
ㆍ You can check where Phantom Ships have appeared on the Great Ocean World Map.
- Striking a Phantom Ship enough times rewards you with a Flickering Phantom Ship Fragment.
- Complete the weekly quest to collect Flickering Phantom Ship Fragments in the Great Ocean Expedition Log to obtain the Phantom Ship's Old Treasure Chest.

🏝️ Eventide Island & Sunset Eventide Island ▼ Expand
As you sail through Juur Sea, you may discover Eventide Island. Its resident, Saerio, can let you enter Sunset Eventide Island.
You'll need 1 Eventide Island Owner's Note to enter, and using it lets you stay on Sunset Eventide Island for 5 minutes.
ㆍ You can obtain an Eventide Island Owner's Note with a chance when defeating a Sea Monster in Juur's Outlaw Waters.
On Sunset Eventide Island, you can catch rare fish such as Coelacanth, Rock Bream, and Lantern Anglerfish, and delivering them can earn you a Mysterious Mythical Cannon or Plating Chest.
ㆍ Using a Mysterious Mythical Cannon/Plating Chest grants a Mythical-grade Cannon/Plating with 17 to 20 Enhancement Durability.

🚢 Ships & Ship Refitting ▼ Expand
⛴️ Ships
Ships are shared across your Family and can be obtained through a Ship Registration Certificate. Your first Ship, the Fishing Boat, is granted as a quest reward while progressing through the story quest.
🛠️ Ship Refitting
You can refit your Ship into a higher grade from Ship Management. Refitting your Ship not only strengthens its stats, but also lets you sail into farther sea zones and grants access to a variety of bombardment skills to face down enemies.

⚓ Cannon & Plating Maintenance, and Crew ▼ Expand
💣 Cannons & Plating
You can equip your Ship with Cannons and Plating.
ㆍ Cannons and Plating can be equipped or unequipped only while your Ship is docked outside the Great Ocean.
ㆍ Cannons and Plating can be obtained through the Great Ocean story and various Great Ocean content rewards.
🔧 Cannon & Plating Enhancement
While docked at a port, you can enhance your Cannons and Plating via Cannon/Plating Management or the Enhance button in the item description.
ㆍ A successful enhancement raises the level by 1 to 2 stages with a chance; on failure, only the Enhancement Durability is consumed.
ㆍ Each enhancement attempt reduces Enhancement Durability by 1, and once it's fully consumed, you can no longer attempt to enhance that item.

📦 Cannonball Storage
You can use the materials below to stock cannonballs in your Cannonball Storage.
ㆍ 500 each of Rough Stone, Iron Ore, Copper Ore, and Tin Ore
While sailing, approaching a port where you can dock automatically loads your Ship with the maximum number of cannonballs it can hold from your Cannonball Storage.
🛟 Rescue Ship
If your Ship is wrecked (you are defeated) while sailing the Great Ocean, you lose some Sailing EXP, and you can set sail from port aboard a Rescue Ship.
With a Rescue Ship, you can either sail directly to the wreck site to recover your Ship, or spend currency to recover it remotely. Recovering your Ship this way also restores the EXP you lost.
🧑✈️ Crew
From Crew Management, you can assign any Camp Worker you like to your Ship to sail together.
ㆍ Pressing Auto-Assign automatically places Camp Workers onto your Ship.
👑 Sylvia Goddess Statue ▼ Expand
Once your Command Post reaches level 4 or higher, you can build the Sylvia Goddess Statue from the Construction tab by consuming certain materials.
The Sylvia Goddess Statue can be offered to using Goddess's Tears, Noble Goddess's Tears, and Surging Goddess's Tears, and each level increases its Attack Power and Defense.
ㆍ Stats boosted by the Sylvia Goddess Statue apply across your entire Family.
