🧭 Basic Information & Systems ▼ Expand
📍 Broken Altar (Quick Travel)
Broken Altars that can be activated are scattered throughout the Great Desert. Approaching an altar activates it, and you can instantly travel to any other already-activated Broken Altar at any time.

🗺️ Great Desert World Map
Unvisited desert areas are covered in dark fog, which clears once you activate a Broken Altar. Discovering and interacting directly with a temple marked with a question mark (?) records that temple's information on the World Map.
- 🔒 White Temple Icon : Temple you cannot enter (tapping it auto-moves you there)
- 🔓 Yellow Temple Icon : Temple you can currently enter
- ✅ Black Temple Icon : Temple you have already cleared
⚔️ Great Desert Outlaw Zone
The deep outskirts of the Great Desert form an Outlaw Zone where adventurers can freely engage in unrestricted PvP combat. It's a far fiercer and more dangerous battlefield, but you can obtain much more valuable and special loot compared to normal fields.
📖 Great Desert Story & Desert Expedition Log
The Great Desert offers its own mysterious story along with a Desert Expedition Log that resets monthly. Each time you complete a log entry — defeating nearby enemies, excavating, and more — the Great Desert's hidden ancient temples gradually unlock, granting special rewards essential for your core growth.

🎯 Key Rule : The Desert Expedition Log's 'Complete Mirage' requirement can only be achieved through direct play, not Family Dispatch.
🌪️ Sandstorm, Every 1st of the Month : When the sandstorm that blows in on the 1st of each month sweeps across the Great Desert, the Expedition Log resets, and each temple's entry count and location are completely rearranged.
🎓 About Knowledge & Growth
Each time you discover new Knowledge about ecology, characters, terrain, or scholarship, your Attack Power, Defense, and Camp Worker Skill permanently increase by a fixed amount. There's also a special bonus that greatly increases your maximum Energy once your total Knowledge reaches a certain threshold, so we recommend completing your Collection whenever you get the chance.
💧 Purified Water & Exhaustion System
Purified Water is absolutely essential to safely explore the scorching desert. You can claim it for free once a day at 00:00 (holds for 20 minutes).
📊 Maximum Desert Adventure Storage Time
· Default max charge limit for Desert Adventure : 5 hours
· With 'Life Plus' active : extendable up to 10 hours of storage
* When Life Plus ends, any time held above the limit is not deducted, but additional Purified Water use is temporarily restricted until your stored amount drops to 5 hours or below.
💀 Exhaustion from Lack of Purified Water
Once your Purified Water is fully depleted, you enter a state of Exhaustion where your HP continuously drops. All interactive actions — Auto Hunt, movement skills, summoning your Camel, using a Tent, and more — become unavailable, and the state can only be lifted by recharging Purified Water or returning to a nearby Oasis Town.
🏕️ Safe Shelter, the Desert Tent
Setting up the Tent from your bag lets you rest safely without your Purified Water depleting near the area where it's installed.
- 🏕️ Tent Duration : Stays installed for up to 10 minutes
- ⏳ Tent Re-installation Cooldown : 60 minutes
- 💎 Advanced Desert Tent : Instantly buy Recovery Items and use the Appraisal Shop from inside the tent (available for purchase in the Pearl Shop)
🐪 The Desert's Essential Companion, Mounts
In desert fields, the Sand Bind debuff greatly reduces your movement speed, so riding a dedicated mount is essential.
Camel (Basic Mount)
· Instantly obtainable as the Season Plus final reward or as an Adventurer Progression Log completion reward.
Elephant (3 types total - Cart / Baby / Royal Elephant)
· Its base speed is far more flexible than the Camel's, and the Baby/Royal Elephants have a dedicated burst-acceleration skill.
· How to Obtain : Medal of Honor Shop (Cart/Baby Registration Certificate), completing the 'Broken Trumpet' quest obtained from defeating Great Desert monsters (Royal)
Dream Horse Dine (Top-Tier Dream Horse)
- 🌍 Earth's Sprint : Desert-exclusive acceleration and top-tier high-speed sprinting
- 🛡️ Earth's Protection : Fully negates the Sand Bind effect for 30 minutes, reduces damage taken from other players by 5%
- ⚡ Enables high-speed space warping within the Great Desert (unusable in normal fields, cannot connect to Wagon Stables)
- 🎒 Can excavate the ground immediately while still mounted on Dine
⏳ Blessed Sand
Consuming the 'Blessed Sand' item permanently grants a Light Footwork buff that, just like Dine, completely blocks the desert's unique debuff, 'Desert Shackles' (reduced movement speed).
⛏️ Desert Treasures: Excavation & the Black Rock Altar
As you traverse the desert field, you'll come across various forms of ancient traces.
⛏️ Ancient Relic Excavation
When an excavation item is nearby, the compass icon flashes with a '!'. You can spend Energy to dig up the ancient find, and the appraisal item you obtain can be appraised through an Oasis Merchant to receive Edana's Coin and Unidentified Runes.
⚡ Black Rock Altar
Defeating the enemies near a Black Rock Altar — found close to clusters of desert monsters — makes an Offering possible. Spending 10 Energy to make an Offering at the altar lets you take high-value loot useful for growth, such as Edana's Coin and Chaos Crystals.
* Once your Fairy learns 'Great Desert Black Rock Altar Auto-Offering,' you can enable automatic Offering without manual taps.
🧳 Wandering Merchant Morco ▼ Expand
📜 Morco's Great Desert Monopoly
Morco of the Crow Trading Company obtained the exclusive right to sell 'Luminescent Crystal' — found only in the desert — as payment for resolving a secret order from the Valencian royal family.
Morco is a wandering NPC who suddenly appears at unspecified, secret locations throughout the Great Desert's Outlaw Zone, trading Edana's Coin for valuable, rare items.
🕒 Wandering Merchant Appearance
- 📅 Appearance Days : Appears at random, at any time from Monday 00:00 through Friday 23:59 every week
- 🧭 Map Display Rule : Not shown on the normal minimap or the Great Desert World Map under normal circumstances — the World Map icon switches once you discover him.
- ⏳ Time Limit : If he goes undiscovered until the appearance window runs out, he automatically disappears for that week.
- 🏆 Special Reward : Each week's first adventurer to discover him is awarded the 'Morco's Gift Box' title and the exclusive title 'Morco My Beloved.'
⛩️ Great Desert Black Rock Shrine ▼ Expand
📜 Legend of the Black Rock Shrine
A shrine that generously grants the power of ancient relics to those who offer Edana's Coin,
it can only be summoned with a dedicated Altar Activation Scroll obtained by defeating Laytenn, who reigns in the heart of the desert.
⚙️ Key Guide to Shrine Offerings & Summoning
- Summon it using a location-specific Offering Scroll (obtained by defeating Laytenn, the Black Sun, etc.) at one of the 3 Black Rock Shrines that permanently exist throughout the desert.
- When a shrine is summoned, an alert and a travel button appear on the minimap, letting you travel there instantly.
- Once activated, a shrine can be offered to for 30 minutes, and multiple shrines can also be summoned at the same time.

📦 The Legendary Evonatt Chest ▼ Expand
📜 The Vanished Caravan, Evonatt's Mystery
Just as rumors of its sudden disappearance — whether a treasure's curse or a Gahaz Bandits raid — were fading from memory,
expedition teams began reporting sightings of a faded Evonatt Chest appearing around the Great Desert's Outlaw Zone.
📦 Evonatt Acquisition & Unlock Rules
- The treasure chest appears only in the Great Desert's Outlaw Zone, at an extremely low chance.
- Opening the chest takes 30 seconds and consumes 10 Energy.
⚠️ Note : If you're hit by a monster or another player (Stun, Knockdown, or another status effect) while unsealing it, the opening process is canceled.
🛡️ Once you obtain and appraise the appraisal item: instantly receive Edana's Coin, Elion Rune, and Luminescent Crystal
⚡ Ancient Weapon Laytenn & Apocros ▼ Expand
⚡ Ancient Weapon Laytenn
A powerful ancient weapon occasionally found in the Great Desert.
The moment it appears, the surrounding area turns into a combat zone, and you receive contribution rewards based on your cumulative damage ranking.
👾 World Boss Tukar Laytenn (Thursday 21:40)
Appears inside Hystria Chambers around 21:40 every Thursday.
Defeating it summons a Black Rock Shrine.
Adventurers who missed the chance to take part can instead secure the 'Core of Tukar Laytenn,' a remnant left inside the chambers, to take down its Phantom in the 'Red Sand Stone Chamber.' (Note: defeating the Phantom does not summon a Black Rock Shrine.)
🐋 Apocros
A creature that roams freely through the sand and skies far along the horizon of the Great Desert's Outlaw Zone.
A massive orange pillar of light appears above wherever it spawns.
⚠️ Essential Rules for the Takedown
- It's invincible while submerged in sand or floating in the air, and can only be attacked once it lands on the sand.
- If no damage is dealt for 30 seconds or more during the fight, your contribution resets and you lose your chance at loot.
A successful takedown grants 'Wings of Apocros', which you can bring to a Katan Soldier to exchange for a reward chest, once per week. (Valid for 5 days once inside your Loot Bag.)
📦 Key Contents of the Apocros Reward Chest
Edana's Coin, Root of Sorcery, [Abyssal] Relic Chest, Tangled Time,
Thunder God's Power Core, Hadum Rune, Luminescent Crystal, [Primal] Unknown Memory (Shoes)
