Adventurer's Guide

Pets

🐾 Pet Introduction ▼ Expand
Adventuring companion Automatically picks up loot for you during Auto-Hunt.
Pet Skills Grant a range of effects, from AP/DP to more.

You can exchange Pets of the same generation to raise them to the next generation.
The higher a Pet's generation, the faster its loot pickup speed and the better the effects of the Skills it can use.

✨ Pet EXP Acquisition Conditions

1) When you defeat a monster while consuming Adventuring Fervor
2) When you defeat a monster in an area that requires a separate entry time or an entry pass, such as the Great Desert, Snow Mountain, or Rift of Chaos
(You can still earn EXP in these areas even after fully consuming your Adventuring Fervor.)
※ Every time you defeat 100 monsters, all Pets you have summoned will gain EXP.
※ If you travel to a town or another area before defeating 100 monsters, the defeat count resets.
※ Only monsters that can drop loot upon defeat count toward this.

🔀 Changing Skills

Pets of Generation 5 or higher can have their Skills changed through combination.

Selecting [Random Skill] in the center of the combination screen will randomly change all of the Pet's Skills.

Selecting and Swapping Skills

Selecting a Skill on the Pet on the left lets you choose a specific Skill and swap it for another one.

🔄 Pet Exchange ▼ Expand
Using two Pets of the same generation, you can attempt a Pet Exchange.
Depending on the chance, you may obtain a higher-generation Pet from the exchange.
When exchanging, you can inherit the Skills of your preferred Pet or swap them for random Skills, and the number of Skills and stats will increase as the generation rises.

The Pet's level does not matter for the exchange.
If the exchange fails, the resulting Pet keeps the higher level of the two Pets used in the attempt.

Generation 7 Pets can be obtained by exchanging a Generation 6 Pet with successful Skill Expansion together with a Generation 6 Pet without Skill Expansion, at a set chance.

📈 Pet Exchange Stacks

If a Pet Exchange doesn't raise the generation, a stack is added.
Once the stack reaches 100%, your next exchange attempt will guarantee a generation increase.
Stacks do not build up when attempting a Pet Skill Expansion.

The number of exchanges required to guarantee a generation increase is as follows.

Pet Generation Exchanges Required
Gen 1 → Gen 2 2
Gen 2 → Gen 3 2
Gen 3 → Gen 4 4
Gen 4 → Gen 5 5
Gen 5 → Gen 6 10
Gen 6 → Gen 7 15

⚙️ Auto Pet Exchange

You can use the Auto Pet Exchange button at the bottom of the Pet Exchange menu to proceed automatically.

Regardless of whether a preset is configured, any Pet without a Priority setting or Lock will be included as a target for Auto Exchange.
If there are Pets you don't want automatically exchanged, we recommend setting their Priority or locking them.

Step 1 — Priority Settings

In Step 1 of the Auto Exchange settings, you can set the Priority of the Pets you own.
Pets with a Priority setting will keep their appearance and Skills during Auto Exchange.
If only Pets with a Priority setting or Pets that still need Skill Expansion remain, Auto Exchange will stop.

Step 2 — Target List & Generation Settings

In Step 2 of the Auto Exchange settings, you can view the list of Pets with a Priority setting.
You can check the list of Pets that will undergo Auto Exchange, which excludes any locked Pets.
You can also set the target generation for Auto Exchange, and the process will continue until that generation is reached.
🏆 Pet Collection ▼ Expand
Pet Collection increases your AP, DP, and Max HP.

Obtaining a Pet grants you the Pet Collection effect.
Pet Collection is automatically registered the first time you obtain a Pet of each generation, and the collection reward grants AP, DP, and Max HP.

📸 Pet Memory Album ▼ Expand

The Memory Album is a system that lets you register a Pet's appearance using the 'Pet Record Paper' item.

If you save a Pet's appearance to the album, you can apply it to whichever Pet you currently have summoned.

Once a Pet's appearance is registered, it can be used an unlimited number of times.
