First unveiled at the Heidel Ball,
this update completely reimagines Node War and Siege War!
"Fortress Battle"Get an early look at Fortress Battle on the BDM Test Server this September.
Check out the notice below for more details.

* To ensure a smooth character setup process,
the BDM Test Server will be available starting Sep 1 (Tue).

What Is Fortress Battle?

Fortress Battle serves as the qualifying stage for Siege War,
where up to 300 Adventurers clash across a vast battlefield
to capture enemy forts.

Rather than having all guilds clash at a single location,
Fortress Battle features a variety of objectives and
ever-changing battlefield conditions,
allowing each Adventurer to forge a story of their own.

1. How to Access the Test Server

On the official server, tap the "[BDM Test Server] Apply for Access" button.

Log in to the test server with your Black Desert Mobile account, then create a character.
[Example]

If you have applied for the test server with a Google account "abc123@gmail.com" on the live server,
use the same Google account "abc123@gmail.com" to log in to the test server.

※ You cannot use a guest account to apply for the test server. Please sync your account with Google or Apple.
※ New Adventurers must first create a Family on the live server mobile app, then apply for access before logging in to the test server.

Character Setup
The test server provides various resources to help Adventurers prepare for testing.
Follow the steps below to set up your character to suit your playstyle.
① Characters created on the test server will start at Lv 60.
② Use the "Remastered EXP Scroll" from your Inventory to raise your Character level.
- Using all Remastered EXP Scrolls will raise the character to Lv 115.
③ Open the "Test Server Support Chests" in your Inventory and equip all the gear obtained from them.
- Press the Auto-Equip button twice to equip all gear.
④ After equipping your gear, equip a "Support Emblem of Transcendence" for your desired CP.
- Support Emblems of Transcendence are test server-exclusive items, and set your Character's CP to value applied to each emblem.
⑤ Use the "Condensed Dark Energy" from your Inventory to raise your Black Spirit Level.  
⑥ Combine a +40 Eternal Rift Totem with Wrathful, Unity, and Savior Rift Totems.
ㆍTap [Black Spirit's Influence] > [Combine] to access the screen shown below and combine the Totems.


⑦ Use the Skillbook Chest and Transcendent Skillbook Chest in your Inventory to increase your skill levels.
ㆍTap [Open Chests] to open all of these items and obtain Skillbooks.


Go to [Menu] > [Skill] and tap [Use All Skillbooks] to use them.
ㆍAfter using all Skillbooks, all normal skills will reach Lv 19 and all Rabam Skills will reach Lv 15.

⑧ Equip the skills you want, then select and apply Branches to them.


⑨ Purchase any additional items you need from Test Server Vendor Roro in Velia.
- You can buy items such as HP Potions, food, Skillbook Chests, Character Class Change Coupons, Unknown Memories, and Chaos Skill Sigils.



◈ Sell the Unfinished Corn Dogs in your Inventory to obtain Silver.

◈ During Fortress Battle, you can use the Dream Horse Arduanatt's Leap of Freedom to instantly travel across the battlefield.

ㆍFor a smoother testing experience, we recommend selecting Arduanatt as your Dream Horse.

◈ Purchase [Primal] Unknown Memories and [Chaos] Skill Sigils, then use them.



※ Some items are exclusive to the test server and are provided to set up your Character.
 

2. How to Participate: Guild Participation and Open Participation

Guild Participation

Eligible guilds will receive separate instructions.

Guilds with at least 300,000 Guild Points will be contacted individually in sequence.

※ The eligibility threshold may be adjusted depending on recruitment needs.

※ GMs will serve as Guild Masters on the test server. Guild Masters and Officers from participating guilds will be assigned the Officer rank.

※ Further details on the schedule and participation process will be announced at a later date.

Open Participation
1. Set Up Your Character
- Equip your gear and skills, then configure the necessary options.
2. Join a Guild
- Go to [Guild] ▶ [Apply for a Guild] ▶ select a recommended [Competitive] Guild, and join it.
3. Enter the Guild Fortress
- Enter the Guild Fortress at least 10 minutes before the battle begins.

※ GMs will create all test guilds in advance.

※ Adventurers cannot create their own guilds on the test server.

※ Guild joining closes 20 minutes before the battle begins.

※ You may be removed from the Guild if you remain offline after joining, to help the battle run smoothly.
※ Adventurers taking part in Guild Participation may also participate in Open Participation.

* [Guild Participation] Due to a high volume of participation, the Sept 2 (Wed) 21:00 join period is now closed.
* Please note that to ensure a smooth progression, the 19:30 join period has been changed to 22:30.

4. Fortress Battle Events

Earn special rewards that can be used on the official server, including Black Pearls, Unidentified Chaos Skill Sigil, and Harmony Scrolls!

Event 01. Guild Participation

Complete one Fortress Battle through Guild Participation to receive the following rewards.

※ The survey link will be added to this notice on Sep 2 (Wed).
※ Event rewards will be distributed after the official server maintenance on Sep 8 (Tue).
※ By participating in all events, you can receive all rewards from Events 1–3.
 ㆍFlute of Unity and Witch's Shoulder Piece will be distributed only to Guild Masters.
※ Survey rewards cannot be distributed if the Family Name you submit cannot be found on the official server.
※ Rewards will be distributed only if records show that you applied for access to and logged in to the BDM Test Server, and participated in Fortress Battle at least once on the test server.
※ The test and related events may be canceled or rescheduled depending on circumstances. As high demand may limit participation, we recommend applying to join a guild as early as possible.
※ After the Fortress Battle test ends, all guild and character data created on the test server will be deleted, and the test server will no longer be accessible.
