Black Sun
Though the Black Sun disappeared for a time, it has once again risen in the middle of the Great Desert.
As Elion's and Hadum's realm merged into one within chaos,
The Black Sun merges Great Desert Imur and Torme into one space.
The Great Desert, enveloped in Chaos, has become a truly vast battlefield.
The Black Sun rising over the Great Desert is also the prelude to the war content that will be released this year.
The endless desert allows more the footprints of even more adventurers,
The scale of this growing battle is ever more reminiscent of full-scale war.
Give it your all as you participate in a war that begins under the newly risen Black Sun in the Great Desert.
Enter Black Sun
- Black Sun can be entered once you achieve 25,000 CP.
- The Black Sun rises over the Great Desert every Saturday at 13:00 – 13:40, 16:00 – 16:40, and 19:20 – 20:00, and on Sundays at 01:00 – 01:40.
- The maximum number of participants allowed per channel is 110 Adventurers.

- The Great Desert where the Black Sun rises is entered as a single map regardless of difficulty level.
※ Monster CP is adjusted to an appropriate level according to the CP Rank of all adventurers.
- Adventurers in the Great Desert will be sent to Barhan Gateway when the Black Sun rises.
- You will enter at a random location in the Great Desert where the Black Sun has risen.
- Even adventurers who have not activated the Broken Altar can use the Broken Altar while the Black Sun is present.
- In the Great Desert, while the Black Sun has risen, desert adventure time does not decrease.
- During Black Sun, you cannot acquire Spoils of Battle when defeating enemies in Great Desert.
- During Black Sun in the Great Desert, NPCs, Excavation Sites, and Temples do not appear, and you cannot use the feature to move to a "Nearby Oasis" during combat.

[How to earn Black Sun points]
- Defeat regular monsters in a location affected by the Black Sun to earn points
ㆍ When you defeat a certain number of monsters near the Black Rock Altar, a monster imbued with Black Energy will appear.
- You can acquire points in Black Sun by defeating and assisting in the defeat of other Adventurers
ㆍ You can attack Adventurers who are not members of your guild, and you can steal points when you defeat another Adventurer.

[Assist]
- An assist is acquired by up to 5 adventurers who most recently dealt damage to an adventurer just before they are defeated.
- Assist Points are points given to Adventurers who have assisted in defeating another Adventurer. You'll recieve 2% of the Black Sun points held by the defeated Adventurer as assist points.
ㆍ You will not receive assist points if you were not one of the last 5 attackers who damaged the Adventurer, regardless of the damage you did prior.

- After joining a guild, rewards can be claimed following the calculation of Guild Rank Rewards for the next week's Black Sun.
- Guild Rank Rewards are distributed to each individual guild member and can be acquired via Black Sun menu.
- Guild Rank Rewards can be claimed until the next tally period.
- If you participated in the Black Sun but left the guild before the rewards were distributed, you cannot receive the Guild Rank Rewards.
- Guilds ranking 1st through 3rd in the Black Sun will receive a Guild Mark icon as a reward for each rank.
Laytenn
- Laytenn will spawn in a random location in the Great Desert anytime after 20 minutes have elapsed during Black Sun.
- Laytenn will appear in the Great Desert at a random location and at a random time.
- Upon defeating Laytenn, you can obtain the 'Laytenn's Axe' item based on your contribution (damage ranking).
ㆍ You cannot acquire rewards if you did not deal any damage to Laytenn within 30 seconds before its defeat.
ㆍ If you deal damage to Laytenn after 30 seconds, you can continue to acquire contribution based on the damage previously dealt.

Black Rock Shrine Scroll
- When you defeat Laytenn after it appears during Black Sun, the Black Rock Shrine will not appear, but you can obtain the Black Rock Shrine Summon Scroll at a certain rate.
ㆍ[Black Rock Shrine Summon Scroll] is an item that you can use to summon the Black Rock Shrine whenever you want at the Hidden Shrine Site.
ㆍ[Black Rock Shrine Summon Scroll] has to be used within 10 days after receiving it. You can sell it or throw it after it expires.
ㆍ There are three types of scrolls you can obtain; "Shrine Site Black Rock Shrine Scroll", "Ruins Black Rock Shrine Scroll", and "Gorge Black Rock Shrine Scroll".
- The Black Rock Shrine Scroll can be used at a Black Rock Shrine located in the region that matches the scroll's name.
- Adventurers who use the Black Rock Shrine Scroll can acquire a Discoverer's Reward.
- The Black Rock Shrine Scroll may not be used in certain situations.

ㆍThe appearance time may vary by channel.
- Afuaru's Vault Keys can be obtained based on contribution (damage ranking) upon defeating Afuaru in Black Sun.
ㆍAfuaru's Vault Keys expire after 5 days and can be sold at the Vendors after expiry.

- Afuaru's Vault Keys can be exchanged for Afuaru Reward I–III from NPC Volve at Barhan Gateway.
ㆍAfuaru Reward Chests must be used within 5 days of acquisition and can be sold at the Vendors after expiry.
