Information Regarding Accounts

- Existing accounts can continue to be used without any changes after the UNITED SERVER update.
・ ex) Even if you were using the account BlackDesertMobile@Pearlayss.com before the maintenance, you will still be able to use the same account afterwards.

Ammendments to Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Operational Policy

- Following the UNITED SERVER update on Aug 19 (Tue), 2025, amendments will be made to the Operational Policy, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service of Black Desert Mobile.

Inactive Family Name Reset and New Restricted Words

To support a more comfortable gameplay environment and offer more opportunities to use diverse Family names following the UNITED SERVER update, 
inactive Family names will be reset and new restricted words will be added.
・This update is scheduled to take place during the maintenance on August 19, 2025 (Tue). For more details, please refer to the notice below.

Duplicate Family and Guild Names

- There cannot be duplicate Family or Guild names within a server, and the following measures will be taken
at the time of the UNITED SERVER update for Adventurers with duplicate Family or Guild names. 

Example 1) If there are Adventurers in each region using the Family Name "BlackDesert"

Example 2) If there are Guilds in each region using the Guild Name "Pearlabyss"

※ Adventurers whose Family or Guild Name is changed due to duplication will receive a Family Name Change Coupon and Guild Name Change Coupon x1 via Mailbox on the day of the server merge.

※ If you wish to use your previous Family or Guild Name again, you can use the Change Coupon to apply for the name change.

Game Content

- Content schedule will be changed after the UNITED SERVER update.
・Most content will still be available as before.
※ Any important details such as temporary restrictions of certain content will be provided in a separate notice before the update.

Adventurers on the Global server used a variety of languages, which sometimes made communication difficult in urgent situations,
and Adventurers from more regions will be brought together through the UNITED SERVER update, from Japan and Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau.

To make it easier for Adventurers from different regions to chat and enjoy the game together,
a chat translation feature will be added with the update on August 19 (Tue).

The automatic translation may not always be perfectly accurate,
but we hope it makes chatting with others more accessible than before.

- Alongside the UNITED SERVER update, a chat translation feature will also be added to the Americas and Europe servers.

■ Serviced Languages available for Translation by Region

Americas: English, Spanish, Portuguese
Europe: English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Russian
Asia: English, Korean, Indonesian, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Japanese

- This feature will first be applied to Guild, Blood Kin, Group, Party, and Whisper chats, and messages will be automatically translated into the serviced languages in each region.
・If your language isn't supported, you will be able to view the translations in English.
・If you want the original message shown simultaneously, toggle [Settings → View Original] to choose whether to display only the translated message or both the original and translated messages.

Guest account data will remain unchanged.
However, for your account’s safety, we strongly recommend linking your account.

Q. What will happen to Season Characters?
A. All current Season Character data will be retained. The Season Pass can be continued and completed under the same conditions as before the server merge.

Q. Will monster zones become overcrowded after the server merge?
A. In Black Desert Mobile, additional monster fields are automatically generated once a certain number of Adventurers enter a zone, preventing overcrowding.
Example) If there are 20 available spots in the Star's End monster zone and more than 15 Adventurers enter a single field, a new field will be generated, and subsequent Adventurers will enter the new field.

Q. What will happen to multiplayer content?
A. With the three servers merging, you’ll be able to enjoy content like Co-op Rush and Battlefield of the Sun with even more Adventurers.

Q. What will happen to Friends and Blood Kin?
A. They will remain unaffected and will not be reset.

Q. What about benefits that are only applied for a certain period, such as Daily Pearls?
A. These benefits will remain active until the update maintenance and will be extended by the maintenance duration.
