Fortress Battle and Siege War

Developer Commentary
This update introduces the revamped Siege War and the new Fortress Battle, where multiple guilds clash across a vast battlefield.
The new battlefield is larger than those used in the previous Siege War and Node War, with room for up to nine guilds and 450 players.
We designed the new battlefield so that victory depends on more than a head-on clash at a single location. Preparation, assigning roles, and adapting to changing battlefield conditions all play a key role in the outcome.
Rather than rushing straight for the Castle or a Fort, guilds will occupy nodes along the way and gather resources to prepare siege weapons. From there, they'll push to occupy a Fort or the Castle—and defend it against rival guilds.
For example, occupying Lumber Mills and Smelters provides resources to craft siege weapons for an assault on a Fort or the Castle.
Guilds can also establish revival points close to their next target and gain buffs to strengthen their siege weapons.
The Red Dragon between the Forts will also be an important objective, granting buffs that make guild members more powerful in battle.
The guild that conquers Calpheon Castle will be able to show off its status by riding Mythical Doom, a special Dream Horse available for as long as it holds the Castle. It will also earn rewards worthy of that honor.
Even if your guild doesn't occupy the Castle, the nodes you hold can still earn you valuable rewards, so keep fighting to the very end!
Content Overview
[Fortress Battle]
- Up to nine guilds per day and 27 guilds per week compete to occupy Forts.
- Guilds whose occupation of a Fort is finalized qualify for Siege War.
[Siege War]
- A large-scale battle where up to nine guilds compete to occupy the Forts and the Castle.
ㆍThe three guilds that occupied the Castle and the Forts in the previous week's Siege War participate as defenders.
ㆍThe six guilds that occupied Forts in this week's Fortress Battles participate as attackers.
※ Only the six attacking guilds will participate in Siege War on Nov 7 (Sat).
- The guild that occupies the Castle in Siege War receives rewards worthy of its status, including access to Mythical Dream Horse: Doom until the next Siege War.
[General]
- Occupying nodes across the battlefield grants combat buffs or resources for use during the battle.
- After the battle ends, guilds receive rewards based on the nodes they occupy, such as Battle Nodes, Outposts, and Forts.
- CP is not adjusted, and battles take place separately on each server.
Schedule
- Fortress Battle and Siege War take place each week according to the schedule below.
| Content | Schedule |

| Siege War | ㆍSat, 20:00–21:00 |

| ㆍThu, 19:00–20:00 | ㆍWed, 20:30 |
| ㆍFri, 21:00–22:00 | ㆍThu, 22:30 |
- Guilds can bid on only one Fortress Battle day at a time each week.
ㆍOnce a guild wins a bid, it cannot place any further bids that week, regardless of whether it participates in the battle or occupies a Fort.
[Bidding Requirements and Important Notes]
ㆍThe Guild Master, Guild Officers, or guild members with the required permissions can place a bid if the guild is at least 7 days old, is Lv 10 or higher, and has at least 10 members who have checked in within the past 3 days.
ㆍThe minimum bid is 200,000 Silver from Guild Funds. Placing a bid consumes 800 Declare Points.
ㆍGuilds that occupied the Castle or a Fort in the previous week's Siege War cannot bid.
ㆍIf more than nine guilds bid, the six highest bidders are selected, and three additional guilds are randomly selected from the remaining bidders.
※ If fewer than nine guilds bid, all bidding guilds are selected.
ㆍBids can be canceled while bidding is open, but Guild Funds and Declare Points spent on the bid will not be refunded.
ㆍGuilds that are not selected can claim a refund of their bid amount and Declare Points at the Guild Fortress.
ㆍIf fewer than 10 guild members participate in Fortress Battle or Siege War, the guild cannot bid for two weeks from the end of that battle.
- Bidding results are finalized on the day of Fortress Battle and can be viewed under [Menu] > [Guild].
- There is no bidding for Siege War.
- Guilds whose occupation of Calpheon Castle or a Fort is finalized in Siege War cannot participate in the following week's Fortress Battle. They automatically participate in the following week's Siege War as defenders.

Character
Maehwa
Developer Commentary
Petal Ward has a follow-up attack that moves Maehwa forward, but enabling Flow made it difficult to make full use of Forward Guard during that attack.
To address this, we adjusted the advancing attack so it is no longer affected by Flow.
Previously, both the block and the follow-up attack granted Super Armor, which could make it unclear which part of the skill Flow affected.
We changed the block to grant Forward Guard by default, with Flow changing it to Super Armor, so players can more easily tell where Flow applies.
- Changed Petal Ward's guard type during skill use from Super Armor and Grab Immunity to Forward Guard and Grab Immunity.
- Changed Petal Ward's Flow effect from Forward Guard to Super Armor.
- Fixed an issue where Flash Step would automatically activate when using Glacial Moon or Glacial Wall.
Ranger
Developer Commentary
Ranger adapts to different combat situations using the Longbow and Kamasylven Sword. With recent updates increasing Crit Rate and Critical Hit Damage across the board, our data showed that Ranger's performance at the high end was exceeding expectations.
To address this, we adjusted the Critical Hit Damage Limit bonuses provided by the Longbow and Kamasylven Sword weapon effects. We also adjusted how much Binding Spirit reduces the target's damage reduction against Adventurers. This specialization passive is part of the Longbow weapon effects for Ranger and Archer.
- Reduced the "Max Critical Hit Damage Limit" bonus from the Longbow and Kamasylven Sword weapon effects from +30% to +15%.
- Changed the "Damage reduction against Adventurers" effect applied by Binding Spirit for 5 sec from -40% to -20%.
ㆍAffected classes: Ranger (Longbow), Archer
- Fixed an issue where Penetrating Wind dealt more damage than stated in its description.
Witch
- Improved Voltaic Burst to allow movement while attacking when used in a combo.
Dosa
- Fixed an issue where the vine-woven staff did not appear while using Wood: Bend.
Warrior
- Fixed an issue where being hit during Defensive Stance would occasionally turn Warrior toward a previously selected direction, preventing Forward Guard from protecting him in the intended direction.
- Fixed an issue where Basic Attack could not be used manually during certain combat idle animations.
- Fixed an issue where a Greatsword would appear when using Defensive Stance after certain skills while equipped with a Longsword.
- Fixed an issue where moving in certain directions during Defensive Stance would not consume MP or play the blocking animation, even though the guard effect was active.
Common
- Fixed an issue where some classes would occasionally fail to use the next skill after a skill was manually activated during Auto-Combat.
| Class | Skill |
| Musa | Ascended Spirit |
| Shai | Grow Big, Go!, Summer Rain |
| Hashashin | Proof of Trials |
| Guardian | Earth Slam, Omua's Aura |
| Wizard | Aqua Jail Explosion |
| Deadeye | Victory Salvo |
| Dosa | Motion in Stillness |
