Character

Developer Commentary

Maegu is designed to disrupt the flow of battle by swiftly engaging and disengaging while evading and countering enemy attacks. However, the combo between her Foxspirit Charm and Foxtail Fan skills was not as fluid as intended. Our analysis of her PvE performance also showed that her overall combat efficiency fell short of our target, with considerable disparities in damage output across her skills. In particular, a disproportionate amount of her damage was concentrated in Charm: Sunflash, discouraging the use of other skills.

To address this, we reduced the damage of Charm: Sunflash while increasing the damage of her other key skills to better distribute her damage across her skill set. These changes reduce her reliance on a single skill and give her more viable options in different combat situations.

We changed the Skill Sigil configuration for Spirit: Petal Storm as well, addressing its defensive vulnerability during the skill. The Flawless Skill Sigil slot was replaced with a Guardian Skill Sigil slot, making the skill safer to use and improving Maegu's ability to hold her ground in close-range combat.

In addition, we adjusted the debuff effects of several skills to allow them to combo together more smoothly and provide more reliable follow-up attacks.

Finally, to improve responsiveness, we added combos from Twirling Rhapsody and Emberclaw Crush into her key skills. We also shortened the delay between actions and refined the skill mechanics to create smoother follow-up attacks, improving her overall controls and combo flow in combat.

Developer Commentary

After reviewing a range of performance data and conducting internal tests, we found that Ninja's PvE performance in Everfrost, the Land of the Sherekhan, and Nightmare fell short of our target.

To address this, we made Beheading the Dead and Ninjutsu: Black Moonlight usable while moving. Previously, their stationary multi-hit attacks could create gaps in his damage output.

We also reduced the distance he moves backward when using Alert Stance. While the skill already offered strong damage and range, its excessive backward movement often forced him to run back into attack range during PvE combat.

Finally, we adjusted Auto-Combat to use Afterimage in skill combos more frequently. While the skill has a lengthy animation when used on its own, it is more effective as part of a combo.

- Changed the Sixth Shadow PvE Damage Increase applied when Katanas are selected from 10% to 15%.

Beheading the Dead

- Added the ability to move using directional controls while the character is invisible during the skill.

Ninjutsu: Black Moonlight

- Added the ability to move using directional controls while the character is invisible during the skill.

Alert Stance

- Reduced the distance moved backward when using the skill from 5.7 m to 4.56 m.

Twin Dragon

- Increased the frequency at which Twin Dragon is used during Auto-Combat.

Afterimage

- Adjusted Auto-Combat to use Afterimage more frequently as part of skill combos.

- Reduced the World Boss Damage multiplier from 115.37% to 113.58%.

Developer Commentary

Dark Knight is designed to dominate the battlefield through combos with her Kriegsmesser and Vediant. However, our analysis showed that her PvE performance in the open world and major Monster Zones fell short of our target.

In particular, her performance during Auto-Combat varied considerably depending on how frequently certain skills were used and whether Rabam Skills were incorporated into combos. When Rabam Skills did not flow naturally with other skills, it created gaps in her damage output, affecting her overall clear speed and combat sustainability.

To address this, we increased her overall PvE skill damage to improve her baseline performance. We also refined her Auto-Combat AI and added combo functionality to certain Rabam Skills, allowing her to perform more consistently across different skill rotations.

Dark Cleave

- Changed PvE Damage.
· Lv 1: 1,540.00% x 2 → 1,694.00% x 2

· Lv 20: 3,571.20% → 3,928.32%

Legacy of the Vedir

- Changed PvE Damage.
· Lv 1: 1,570.00% x 2 → 1,727.00% x 2
· Lv 20: 2,512.00% x 2 → 2,763.20% x 2

Developer Commentary

We carefully reviewed Adventurer feedback regarding Kunoichi's combat flow and skill combos.

Based on our internal review, we determined that she needed more ways to transition between her key skills to better emphasize her signature fast-paced combat style and improve the overall utility of her skills. We have therefore added several new skill combos.

We hope these improvements bring out even more of Kunoichi's signature agility.

- Added the following skill combos.

To

Shadow Stomp, Lethal Spin Spree

Touch of Death

▶ Shadow Stomp → Touch of Death Skill Combo

Developer Commentary

When Legacy was converted into a special skill in the previous update, the combos it previously had into other skills were unintentionally removed, limiting Drakania's flexibility in combat.

We have restored these transitions, allowing Legacy to flow into other skills once again. This also provides more opportunities to strategically utilize the Trion effects that activate during the next skill used.

Savage Decree (Dragonblood)
Sundering Roar (Hexeblood/Dragonblood)
Extinction (Hexeblood/Dragonblood)

New Content and Improvements

Developer Commentary

In this update, we adjusted the CP Limit for each Nightmare level to better align with Adventurer progression.

With the current Season Pass and Adventurer Progression Log, new Adventurers can quickly reach approximately 60,000 CP. However, because Nightmare Level I had a CP Limit of 40,000, we found that participation was low and battles were not occurring as frequently as intended.

To address this, we increased the CP Limit for Level I to 55,000, which was previously the limit for Level II. We also increased Monster HP and rewards to match the new CP Limit.

With today's update, each Nightmare level now grants the same amount of rewards previously offered one level higher.
Level V, which has no CP Limit, now grants approximately 20% more rewards than before.

We will continue to monitor Adventurer progression and participation in Nightmare and make adjustments to provide a smoother overall experience.
