The Patch Notes for BDM Test Server update on May 29 are here!
※ All contents below are for the test server only, and may differ from the actual update on the live server.
▼ If you encounter a file error when launching the game from the PC Launcher, please refer to the steps below.
1. In the PC Launcher, click the gear icon and run Scan & Repair Files.
2. If the launch error continues, please completely uninstall the launcher and reinstall it.
2-1) In the PC Launcher, click Uninstall Game, or go to Windows Settings (Win + i) → Apps → Installed apps, then select BlackDesertMobile Global Launcher and uninstall it.
2-2) Go to the Black Desert Mobile PC Launcher download page and reinstall the client.
Skill Page Revamp
- Revamped the [Menu] > [Skill] > [Select Weapon] page to be more intuitive when selecting a weapon, or checking equipped skills, upgrade, and combos.

- You can select one weapon passive from the weapon selection screen.

Skill Add-on
Developer Commentary
The "Skill Imprint" introduced in the May 21 patch notes has been updated with the name "Skill Add-on".
Skill Add-ons allow you to apply your desired effects to skills using the Skill Sigils.
You can apply up to 4 effects per skill based on its compatible add-ons,
giving you greater freedom when using your skills in combat.
For example, even with the same skill from the same class,
the chosen add-on can increase its range or hit targets,
allowing you to enjoy diverse combat tailored to your playstyle.
Skill Add-ons are available for the Transcendent Classes that have already been updated,
so experience the brand-new gameplay once again in the Test Server.
We plan to keep making additions and changes, so please share your feedback with us.
- Added the new Skill Add-on system, allowing additional effects to be applied to skills.
- Added Skill Sigils, which can be equipped to skills to grant additional effects.
■ How to Obtain Skill Sigils
- You can purchase Skill Sigils from Eileen in Velia for 50 Silver each.
ㆍUp to 500 Skill Sigils can be purchased per Family daily.
ㆍTo ensure an optimal testing environment, Chaos-grade Skill Sigils are available for purchase. Once updated on the live server, you will be able to obtain Abyssal-grade or higher Skill Sigils through various content.

■ How to Equip
- Up to 4 Sigils can be equipped to a single skill.

① Go to [Menu] > [Skill] > [Skill Upgrade/Add-on] and select a skill.

② Select the type of Sigil you want to equip.

③ Select the Sigil you want, then tap "Load" to move it to the "Sigil Chest."

Character
Developer Commentary
We began designing Transcendent Classes as "a new Class that complements and enhances each Class"
rather than just a Class that combines Awakening and Ascension Classes.
With such intent, we wanted to simplify the complicated passives or the Awakening and Ascension Classes to be more intuitive.
And instead of repeating the same gameplay experience, we wanted to deliver
the fun of combining new skill setups for diferent situations,
offering a fresh experience.
As part of this approach, if any Awakening or Ascension skills shared the same role
with one simply being a better version of the other,
we removed one to focus on the better skill.
Warrior is a prime example of these two approaches.
We simplified Warrior's complex passive conditions and changed the effects to better fit the weapon's identity.
We also streamlined the skill list
by choosing Shield Charge over Off-Kilter, and Ground Smash over Helmet Smash, the better versions of a skill with the same role.
Conversly, we updated Sage with a different approach to gather various feedback.
For Sage, we kept the complexity of the passive while slightly reducing his overall impact,
aiming to keep the original gameplay experience as much as possible.
After carefully reviewing the feedback from the Test Server,
we found that a significant number of Adventurers strongly prefered keeping their current gameplay experience.
Therefore, in today's update, we have made the adjustment
to keep the core skills essential to the playstyle, even if some Awakening and Ascension skills share a role.
Passives have also been adjusted to preserve the familiar combat flow.
We will continue to monitor and reflect your feedback
to ensure we deliver the best possible experience for the Transcendent Classes.
Warrior
The following effects are added when selecting Longsword:
- Cooldown of "Shield Charge" -2 sec
- Decrease remaining skill cooldown when hitting enemies with any skill
- Increase all skill damage on hit with "Shield Charge" (excluding Shield Charge)
ㆍ Remove effects upon using skill
The effects of "Unleash" will be changed.
- "Off-Kilter" Cooldown -3 sec
- Decrease remaining skill cooldown when hitting enemies with any skill
- Recover Combat Resource per skill
- When Resources are full, consume all to activate Berserk Blood
- Decrease Attack Speed Immunity from Adventurer skill effects
- Reduced Max HP and HP Recovery while Berserk Blood is active
- Increase skill speed
- Removed "Triumph" and "Crimson Cyclone."
- Added "Off-Kilter" and "Helmet Smash."

Off-Kilter
- 5 sec cooldown
- Hold the button for max 2 hits

Helmet Smash

Reckoning
- Deleted the enhancement info of "Flow: Catharsis."
- Changed the skill so that it is charged by default by holding the skill button.
Ranger
The following effects are added when selecting Kamasylven Sword:
- Guidance of Wind: Super Armor, Damage Reduction, and Grab Immunity for 0.3 sec per stack upon using a skill with increased damage at 2 or more stacks.
- Removed "Flow: Flurry of Arrows" and "Flow: Howling Winds." Changed the skills to perform an additional attack when holding the skill button.
- Increase damage of "Razor Wind" by 40%.
- Skill damage for all other skills will increase by 10%.
- Removed "Wind Slicer."
- Added "Rupture."

Rupture

The following effects are added when selecting Staff:

ㆍ Cleared the fog from the World Map of the Great Desert, Everfrost, and the Land of the Sherekhan.

We expect this update to bring a brand-new combat experience, as it adjusts the balance for certain Transcendent Classes and adds Skill Add-ons for all Classes,
so we would love to hear our Adventurers' feedback on these updates.
