Azunak Arena (Duo)
Developer Commentary
Azunak was once a training ground where the ancient Sherekhan honed their skills under various combat scenarios.
The experience gained by working together with allies and sometimes fighting alone has been passed down through generations, continuing to shape Adventurers today.
Azunak Arena has provided Adventurers with diverse PvP combat experiences through 3v3 and 1v1 formats,
and with this update, Adventurers will form teams of two in the new Azunak Arena (Duo).
In this new battlefield, the "Dark Shroud" will consume the region, dealing significant damage to Adventurers within. The Dark Shroud will encroach upon the region three times, making the arena smaller and smaller.
The Dark Shroud will test the cooperation of teammates and create more uncertainty in the flow of battle.
With this revamp, we're also introducing Quick Join, allowing Adventurers who aren't in a guild or who belong to smaller guilds to enjoy this content through faster matches.
We hope Adventurers will team up with trustworthy teammates and claim victory after intense competition on a battlefield enveloped in the Dark Shroud.
- Revamped Azunak Arena into a duo format, where Adventurers enter as teams of two.
ㆍUp to 12 teams (24 participants) can enter one battlefield.
ㆍAvailable for 40,000 CP or higher.
- Azunak Arena is open during the following schedule:
ㆍThursdays 20:00–20:50 and Saturdays 18:00–18:50
- Go to [Menu] - [Arena] to enter Azunak Arena (Duo).
Rules
- Up to 24 Adventurers may enter one battlefield.
- All participants start at level 1 with equal CP. EXP gained in the arena is determined by your CP before it is equalized.
- Defeat monsters and other Adventurers to gain points and EXP to level up.
- All Adventurers' Family Names are displayed as Unknown Adventurer. Family Names by rank can be viewed in the results screen after the match ends.
- When defeated by another Adventurer, only points are lost; EXP is not lost.
Dark Shroud
- The Dark Shroud forms three times at set intervals during the battle.

- You'll take heavy damage every second outside the Dark Shroud.
- The safe zone is determined at random, and shrinks every time the Dark Shroud is formed.
- The Dark Shroud is shown on the minimap, and the terrain within the shroud turns black.
Rankings and Rewards
- Added Azunak Arena (Duo) to Arena Rankings.
ㆍRankings are updated daily after midnight.
ㆍRank is determined by the highest score obtained in a single match.
- Azunak Arena (Duo) rankings reset every Monday at 00:00.
- Rank rewards are based on the rank achieved at the time of reset.

※ Achievement rewards not claimed before the update maintenance on Jan 6 (Tue) were sent to your in-game mailbox during the update maintenance on Jan 6 (Tue).
※ Adventurers who completed the achievement before the update maintenance on Jan 6 (Tue) can complete it again, as the achievement was reset with the Azunak Arena revamp.
ㆍThe following measures were taken with the rank rewards:
1) Unclaimed rewards for Azunak Arena held between Jan 1 (Thu) and Jan 3 (Sat) have been sent to your in-game mailbox.
2) Rewards for Azunak Arena held after update maintenance on Jan 6 (Tue) through Jan 11 (Sun), 23:59 will be available after Jan 12 (Mon), 00:00.
New Content and Improvements
Cradle of Fairykind
- The rifts will now automatically close upon defeating all monsters in Cradle of Fairykind.
- Decreased the time required to interact with Flower Buds.
- Cutscenes will no longer appear after being played once per stage.
Party Rush: Urugon Temple
- Decreased the damage dealt by Urugon, Loure Ravi, and the Tower of Carnage in Urugon Temple.
- Removed the slow motion effect from the Tower of Carnage's attacks.
Error Fixes
Character
- [Common] Improved an issue where the character would evade in an unintended direction or would not evade at all while auto-hunting with [Use Evasion during Auto-Combat] set to [ON].

Upcoming Updates
Ancient Anvil
- An enhancement threshold system, "Ancient Anvil," is scheduled to be added during the update maintenance on Jan 13 (Tue).
ㆍAs previously announced at the Calpheon Ball 2025, all failed enhancement attempts between Jul 1, 2025, and the update maintenance on Jan 13, 2026, will count toward the Ancient Anvil gauge.
ㆍPlease refer to the following for an early notice on Ancient Anvil:
Nightmare: Jade Starlight Forest
- Nightmare: Tshira is scheduled to close and the Rift leading to Nightmare: Jade Starlight Forest will open during the update maintenance on Jan 13 (Tue).
ㆍExploration time will not reset.
ㆍDreamward Lanterns can be purchased from the Dreamwarden after Jan 12 (Mon), 00:00. The purchase limit will not reset during the update maintenance on Jan 13 (Tue).
ㆍBrand of the Nightmare debuff will not reset even when the accessible zone changes from Tshira Ruins to Jade Starlight Forest.
Trials of Ator: Elite
- Entries and first clear reward status for Trials of Ator: Elite will be reset during the update maintenance on Jan 20 (Tue).
