Scholar
Developer Commentary
Scholar's greatest appeal lies in her ability to move freely through distorted space and strike from unexpected directions. However, the stationary attacks added for her two-handed Gravity Hammer in the Transcendent Update reduced some of the unpredictable mobility that defined her original playstyle. This update focuses on bringing that identity back while creating smoother skill combos and a faster pace of combat.
First, Helmet Smash has been revamped from a stationary attack into a long-range attack. Holding the skill button now teleports her behind the enemy, allowing her to continue the attack. Core Fusion has also received a new Flow that allows her to attack after teleporting, as well as several new combo options.
Infinite Power has been improved so that, when used in a combo, it immediately deals its fully charged damage without requiring any charging. Hammerfall has also been improved so that, when used in a combo, the damage of its original two hits is condensed into a single hit. This allows her to deal significant damage even during brief openings.
As part of these combo improvements, we also took another look at the role of Partial Black Hole. Its wide attack range and Core Overload effect have made it a key part of her combos. However, its long casting time made it difficult to land every hit, so players would often cancel the skill partway through its animation. We originally made it a Rabam Skill and increased its damage so that landing even a few hits would deal a meaningful amount of damage, allowing it to serve as one of her primary damage skills.
However, we understand that making it a Rabam Skill limited the combos that previously involved Gravity Anchor and Overload.
We considered several ways to address this issue. Rather than simply reverting Partial Black Hole to a normal skill, however, we felt that improving the skills added in the Transcendent Update would create a more engaging combat experience for her. Although these skills already had solid attack ranges, the lack of smooth transitions between them made it difficult to use them to their full potential.
We therefore decided to keep Partial Black Hole as a Rabam Skill, change the grab skill Gravity's Grip to a normal skill, and make Infinite Power a Rabam Skill. These changes allow for a wider variety of combo setups. By making the grab more readily available and adding new skill combos, we hope to give Adventurers more freedom to create powerful, unpredictable combos.
The Skill Sigil slots have also been reassigned to better complement these changes to her combat style. Hammer Smash is useful in PvE thanks to its wide attack range and Forward Guard. However, its relatively slow casting speed and stationary nature made it difficult to take full advantage of a Radiant Skill Sigil in PvP. We have therefore assigned a Defined Skill Sigil slot to Hammer Smash and a Radiant Skill Sigil slot to Core Fusion. With Core Fusion now offering greater versatility, its new Radiant Skill Sigil slot will further reinforce her unpredictable combat style.
We will continue to closely monitor how Adventurers play Scholar after the update and look for ways to make her distinctive, dynamic combat style shine even brighter.

Ninja
Developer Commentary
Ninja was designed around a fast and agile combat style, using his exceptional mobility to quickly engage and disengage from battle. However, we found that his overall damage output was relatively low and that Shortsword was seeing limited use. To address this, we have further differentiated the strengths of each weapon, giving players more meaningful tactical options based on their preferred playstyle.
We have improved the effects of Shortsword to better support a combat style centered around exploiting enemy openings, quickly closing the distance, and unleashing concentrated bursts of damage.
We have added the new Underhanded Assault effect, which increases damage and deals additional fixed damage after using a gap-closing skill. We have also added a combo from Boss Slaughter into Ground Thrust, allowing him to deliver a quick burst of damage, and increased the damage of Fatal Blow, one of his core skills.
We have refined the mechanics of Katanas to make them more effective during prolonged engagements. Wheel of Advance has been added, allowing him to reactivate Sixth Shadow more quickly by continuing to fight after its initial activation and improving his sustained damage output. Twin Dragon, an instant activation skill, can now equip a Guardian Skill Sigil, allowing him to fend off enemy counterattacks at point-blank range while overwhelming his opponent with a flurry of slashes.
This update focuses on giving each of his weapons a more distinct identity. We will continue to monitor combat data and gameplay metrics after the update and make further adjustments as needed.
- Added Sixth Shadow: Wheel of Advance to the Sixth Shadow effect for Katanas.
ㆍGain 1 additional skill charge toward activating Sixth Shadow upon using skill for 6 sec
- Added the Underhanded Assault effect when Shortsword is selected.
ㆍAfter Shadow Cloak's teleport strike, Boss Slaughter, Ground Thrust, or Blinding Slash, the next skill used deals 20% more damage, and one of its hits deals an additional 800 fixed damage.

Sorceress
Developer Commentary
Sorceress was designed to disrupt her enemies' combat resource recovery while using her mobility to swiftly move in and out of combat. However, our combat data showed that too much of her damage and utility had become concentrated in a small number of skills, creating a significant imbalance in skill usage. Her playstyle had become overly reliant on Wrath of Chaos, which could combo into Soul Reaver to trigger maximum damage and also benefited from its Succession effect, as well as on Nightmare for mobility.
To address this, we have redistributed her damage output and narrowed the overall performance gap between her skills. We reduced the damage of Soul Reaver and Wrath of Chaos, which were outperforming her other skills, while increasing the damage of underused core skills such as Doom Vortex and Soul Spike. We have also increased Nightmare's cooldown by 2 sec to reduce how safely and frequently she can engage and disengage from combat.
These changes are intended to give her more flexibility in how she uses her skills and encourage the use of a wider range of options depending on the situation. We will continue to monitor combat data and gameplay metrics after the update and make further adjustments as needed.

- Increased the World Boss Damage multiplier from 106.99% to 109.84%.

Valkyrie
Developer Commentary
We have received a great deal of feedback from Adventurers regarding Valkyrie's performance and are currently conducting a comprehensive review of her overall combat performance and playstyle.
During this review, we found that she was defeating fewer monsters than other classes in open-world regions such as the Mountain of Eternal Winter and Land of the Sherekhan.
To improve her PvE performance, we have added a 10% PvE damage increase to the weapon passive for both Longsword and Lancia.
We are also taking a close look at her PvP performance through gameplay data and ongoing monitoring.
If we determine that further balance adjustments are needed, we will carefully evaluate the best approach before moving forward.
- The passive now grants PvE Damage +10% when Longsword or Lancia is selected.
- To account for the increase in PvE Damage, reduced the World Boss Damage multiplier from 119.68% to 108.25%.

Kunoichi
Developer Commentary
Since the Transcendent Update, we have been regularly reviewing the PvE performance of every class.
As part of this review, we found that Melting Moon, one of Kunoichi's core PvE skills, was underperforming across a variety of monster zones because its Chakram Field was always created at a fixed distance.
To improve its performance, Melting Moon can now create the Chakram Field at close range when used during Auto-Combat.
Following this change, our internal testing showed an improvement in her PvE efficiency, with her monster kills over the same period now comparable to those of other Transcendent Classes.
We will continue to monitor all Transcendent Classes and make further adjustments to maintain PvE balance.
- Improved Melting Moon to create a Chakram Field at close range based on the distance to the target during Auto-Combat.
