※ All contents below are for the test server only, and may differ from the actual update on the live server.
▼ If you encounter a file error when launching the game from the PC Launcher, please refer to the steps below.
1. In the PC Launcher, click the gear icon and run Scan & Repair Files.
2. If the launch error continues, please completely uninstall the launcher and reinstall it.
2-1) In the PC Launcher, click Uninstall Game, or go to Windows Settings (Win + i) → Apps → Installed apps, then select BlackDesertMobile Global Launcher and uninstall it.
2-2) Go to the Black Desert Mobile PC Launcher download page and reinstall the client.

Weapon
- Choose either Crescent Pendulum or Crimson Glaives from [Menu] > [Skill] > [Select Weapon].

① Crescent Pendulum
- Apply Zenith for a set duration upon using skill

Developer Commentary
This update includes adjustments to skills that previously applied both Forward Guard and Rear Super Armor, as well as changes to certain Skill Sigils.
Skill Add-ons were introduced to give Adventurers greater freedom in customizing their skill builds. By allowing Branch effects, buffs, debuffs, and other attributes that were previously tied to specific skills to be assigned more freely, the system was designed to preserve the feel of existing combat while giving players more flexibility to experiment with different builds and playstyles.
Our original plan was to release these Forward Guard and Rear Super Armor adjustments alongside Skill Add-ons. However, Skill Add-ons were made available on the test server last week ahead of these changes, which may have caused some confusion during testing. We apologize for the confusion.
With today's update, skills that previously applied both Forward Guard and Rear Super Armor will now allow Adventurers to choose one of the two defensive effects. An additional defensive effect can then be granted through Guardian Skill Sigils. This allows Adventurers to maintain a defensive setup similar to what they used before, or experiment with different combinations and playstyles. We've also adjusted the duration of the defensive effects provided by Guardian Skill Sigils to expand build options and reduce reliance on specific effects.
We also found that applying Cooldown Reduction to certain skills allowed them to be used far more frequently than intended. To address this, Cooldown Reduction will no longer reduce cooldowns by a fixed amount of time. Instead, it will now reduce cooldowns by a percentage based on each skill's original cooldown.
The test server is not simply a place to preview upcoming content before it reaches the live servers. Its purpose is to help us evaluate and refine updates based on Adventurers' feedback and actual gameplay. As a result, features available on the test server may be adjusted as we review feedback and gameplay data before they are finalized for release. Our goal is to ensure these changes are as polished and stable as possible before they reach the live servers.
We continue to closely monitor feedback from Adventurers across all regions participating in the test server. Following this update, we'll continue monitoring how these changes affect gameplay across different classes and playstyles. If you've had a chance to try the update, we encourage you to share your feedback through the in-game event banner.
