Path of Glory Revamp

Developer Commentary

Path of Glory has been operating on a seasonal format since its release, with Season 10 being the most recent season.

With this update, we've removed the seasonal designation and renamed the content from "Path of Glory Season 10" to simply "Path of Glory." Related names, including Emblems and Entry Passes, have also been updated accordingly.

As Combat Power has increased more rapidly with recent character progression updates,

we've reworked Path of Glory so that each Rift remains an appropriate challenge.

The previous 25 Rift levels have been consolidated into 8 Rift levels,

and new Rift 9 and 10 have been added for Adventurers ready to take on higher difficulties.

We've also increased the base rewards for Path of Glory. In addition, with the removal of Tus' Nest, rewards previously obtainable there can now be earned through Path of Glory.

We hope the updated Path of Glory becomes a more rewarding part of your adventures.

- Changed the content name from "Path of Glory Season 10" to "Path of Glory."

- Path of Glory now consists of 10 Rifts, from Rift 1 to Rift 10.

Eternal Alchemy Stone and Alchemy Stone Revamp

Developer Commentary

With this update, we've introduced the Eternal Alchemy Stone.

Alchemy Stones have long been an important part of Adventurers' progression.

The addition of the Eternal grade opens up a new stage of progression for Adventurers.

In the past, Abyssal and Primal-grade Alchemy Stones came in many different types, each with its own attributes and uses.

As faster early-game progression has made Chaos Alchemy Stones easier to obtain,

we've consolidated several lower-grade Alchemy Stone types and streamlined the acquisition process, following the May 26 update that removed Alchemy Stone Amplification.

These changes should make the Alchemy Stone system easier for new Adventurers to learn and navigate.

Expanded Sources for Progression Materials

Developer Commentary

With this week's update, we've introduced the Eternal Alchemy Stone.
To support Adventurers' progression, we've also expanded ways to obtain Voidsent Eyes.

In the Mountain of Eternal Winter, the amount of Voidsent Eyes obtainable from defeating monsters has been increased.
We've also added Voidsent Eyes to Mercenary Board rewards alongside Citron Tea.
In addition, we've improved rewards from Cursed Pirate Island, allowing Adventurers to obtain more Voidsent Eyes.

We've also added disassembling recipes for Alchemy Stone materials, which now yield Voidsent Eyes and Voidsent Breath.
The weekly exchange limit for Baturnil's Fried Crystal Smelt has been increased to twice per week, providing a more reliable source of progression materials.

In a future update, we plan to further expand acquisition sources by adding Voidsent Eyes to the Mercenary Board in the Cursed Pirate Island and to rewards obtained from defeating Laytenn in the Great Desert.

We'll continue monitoring progression and making adjustments as needed to ensure a smooth gameplay experience.

- Increased Voidsent Eye drop rates by 1.5x in Frost Plains and throughout the Mountain of Eternal Winter.

Developer Commentary

In December 2025, the Cursed Pirate Island was revamped into a hunting-focused area
where Adventurers could remain for a set period of time and earn a variety of progression materials.

Previously, defeating Madman John granted valuable rewards based on damage dealt, including Embers of Hongik, Voidsent Eyes, and Sealed Charms of Succession.

However, because Madman John appeared at random,
many Adventurers had only a limited window to participate once he appeared compared to the time spent waiting for him.

With this update, Madman John will no longer appear on the Cursed Pirate Island.
Instead, the rewards previously obtained from defeating him can now be acquired by defeating normal monsters throughout the area.

We've also increased the chance of obtaining Voidsent Eyes from Voidsent Treasure Chests on the Cursed Pirate Island,
providing a more reliable way to obtain this important progression material.

- Removed Madman John from Cursed Pirate Island.
- Monsters defeated in Cursed Pirate Island now have a chance to drop Cursed Captain's Treasure Chest I–VIII, depending on the selected difficulty.
ㆍUsing the chest grants rewards equivalent to the former rank 1 rewards for defeating Madman John.

- Increased the chance of obtaining Voidsent Eyes from Voidsent Treasure Chests, which can be obtained in the Cursed Pirate Island.
ㆍVoidsent Treasure Chests obtained before maintenance on Jun 2 will continue to drop their original rewards.

- Added disassembly recipes for the following items under [Menu] > [Craft] > [Material] > [Disassembly] > [Smith].

Developer Commentary

Adventurers are already familiar with content such as Nightmare and Cursed Pirate Island,
where remaining exploration time and available difficulties can be checked from a single entry screen.

Likewise, in open-world regions such as the Great Desert, the Mountain of Eternal Winter, and the Land of the Sherekhan,
Adventurers can enter content areas directly without interacting with an NPC.

Chaos Rift, however, required Adventurers to locate the appropriate zone on the World Map
and then speak with the NPC at the Rift entrance before entering.

With this update, Adventurers can now use the [Expedition Gateway] to move directly to a Chaos Rift appropriate for their Combat Power.
Remaining exploration time can also be checked at a glance before entering.

These changes make it easier to jump straight into Chaos Rift.

- Added [Chaos Rift] to [Menu] > [Expedition].

ㆍYou can view the Chaos Rift recommended for your Combat Power, your remaining exploration time, the number of Harmony Scroll purchases available for the week, and obtainable rewards.
ㆍTap the "Move to Entrance" button to travel to the portal leading to Chaos Rift.

- Removed Chaos Rift entrance areas.

Before

After

- Portals leading to Chaos Rift are now located within the regions connected to each Chaos Rift.
- Relocated the Chaos Rift Watcher NPC next to the portal leading to Chaos Rift.
ㆍ Harmony Scrolls can still be purchased from the Chaos Rift Watcher NPC as before.

Example) Chaos Rift XII portal and NPC location in Eroded Lands, West Calpheon

ㆍ(Before) Eroded Lands Entrance
ㆍ(After) Eye of the Ashen Storm

- Adventurers with available Chaos Rift time can now enter Chaos Rift directly through the portal without interacting with an NPC.
ㆍChaos Rift can be entered through the portal while moving or mounted.

- Relocated the Chaos Rift Watcher NPC, who exchanges Chaos Crystals for the weekly task.
ㆍ(Before) Entrance of Titium Gorge
ㆍ(After) Heidel

- Changed the quest destination for "The Scent of the Sea" quest during the Gyfin Rhasia storyline to the entrance of the First Outpost inside Gyfin Rhasia Temple.

- Doubled the drop rate of Kharazad Accessories obtainable from Dark Fissures and Spoils.
ㆍAll Remnants of Corruption that can be used to enter Spoils, along with any unclaimed rewards, have been removed.

- Reduced the duration of Hexe Marie's airborne AoE attack while invulnerable and adjusted its attack range.
ㆍ14 sec → 8 sec
- Changed the debuff applied by Hexe Marie's attacks from Daze to Stun.

- Added a feature that allows Adventurers to review their Boss Blitz records.
- Recent Boss Blitz records can now be viewed from the entry screen.

ㆍBeginner and Advanced records are stored separately.
ㆍThe most recent record is highlighted and displayed with summary information.

- Tap the magnifying glass icon next to Recent Records to view detailed Boss Blitz record information.

ㆍTap a bar on the graph to view detailed information for that record.
ㆍUp to 15 records are stored.

- Detailed Boss Blitz records will only display runs completed after the Jun 2 maintenance.

- Closed the Rift leading to Nightmare: Jade Starlight Forest and opened a Rift leading to Tshira.
