Adventurer's Specters in the Martial God Tournament
Developer Commentary
The Specter system for the Martial God Tournament, first revealed at the latest Calpheon Ball, is now available.
If no opponent is found within 30 sec, Adventurer's Specters can join Martial God Tournament matches. This feature is available in both 1v1 matches and Duo, with Specters able to join one or both teams.
It was first introduced during the BDM Test Server: Transcendent Class Preview, where many Adventurers tested the Transcendent Classes through Martial God Tournament: Spar. It was initially implemented to provide a smoother testing experience. For its release on the live servers, we made several improvements to deliver more dynamic and engaging battles.
First, we focused on giving Adventurer's Specters a wider variety of actions so they behave more like human players. We also equipped them with Skill Sigils to make battles feel more dynamic. Matches involving Specters also count toward challenges and are reflected in win/loss records and win streaks, allowing Adventurers to fully enjoy the content even when Specters participate.
We appreciate all the Adventurers who patiently waited for this update. We'll continue working to provide a smooth and enjoyable experience.
- Added the [Allow Specter] option to Martial God Tournament: Spar, Duo, and Ascent.
ㆍWhen [Allow Specter] is enabled, you may be matched with Adventurer's Specters if no other Adventurers are found within approximately 30 sec.
※ Adventurer's Specters may appear on your team, the opposing team, or both.
ㆍWhen [Allow Specter] is disabled, Adventurer's Specters will not be matched to either team.
- The Specter icon is displayed in the following locations:
|
Details |
|
ㆍMatch loading screen |

▶ Match loading screen icon
▶ Icon above the character's head and on the HP bar
▶ Martial God Tournament: Duo results screen
- Points gained or lost in matches involving Adventurer's Specters are reduced to 10% of those from matches against human players.
ㆍAny decimal values are discarded when calculating 10% of the points.
Examples:
Victory against a human player: +20 points
→ Victory in a Specter match: +2 points
Defeat against a human player: -20 points
→ Defeat in a Specter match: -2 points
Victory against a human player: +12 points
→ Victory in a Specter match: +1 point
Defeat against a human player: -12 points
→ Defeat in a Specter match: -1 point
- Specter matches also count toward Achievements, allowing you to earn their rewards.
- Specter matches also count toward placement match wins and losses, as well as win streaks.

Woosa
Developer Commentary
Transcendent Woosa combines the ranged skills of the former Choryeong with Woosa's melee and mid-range skills. In this update, we adjusted the attack ranges of several key skills and improved responsiveness, allowing her to chain skills together more smoothly while maintaining her combat distance.
First, we shifted Wingbeat's attack range forward to align its effective range with skills such as Soul Shower and Blooming Death. We also changed Stormfall and Mark of the Moon to activate at the point of impact. These changes keep her skills at a more consistent range, allowing her to execute combos more smoothly and effectively.
Second, we reduced skill activation delays to improve responsiveness. We shortened the cast times of Absolute Butterfly Step and Perilous Waltz, which she can use to counter approaching enemies. These changes make her controls feel more responsive and allow for quicker transitions between offense and defense.
We'll continue to monitor her performance across various content and make further balance adjustments as needed.

Perilous Waltz
- Changed the casting animation and reduced the time required to use the skill.
ㆍBefore: Travels 9.6 m in 1 sec
ㆍAfter: Travels 9.6 m in 0.83 sec

Absolute Butterfly Step
- Changed the casting animation and reduced the time required to use the skill.
ㆍBefore: Travels 44.8 m in 3.4 sec (approx. 13.18 m per sec)
ㆍAfter: Travels 44.2 m in 3.21 sec (approx. 13.77 m per sec)

Wingbeat
- Changed the "Damage to Adventurers -10% for 10 sec to the target on hit" effect previously applied by Stormfall to be applied by Wingbeat instead.
- Moved the starting point of the attack forward.
ㆍThe attack no longer hits enemies behind the character, but reaches 1.5 m farther forward.
- Changed PvE damage. (Max 6 hits)
· Lv 1: 789.00% → 907.35%
· Lv 20: 1,262.40% → 1,451.76%
- Changed PvP damage. (Max 6 hits)
· Lv 1: 394.50% → 453.68%
· Lv 20: 631.20% → 725.88%

Stormfall
- Changed the skill to activate on the targeted enemy.
- Removed the following effect from Stormfall and added it to Wingbeat:
ㆍ Damage to Adventurers -10% for 10 sec to the target on hit
- Reduced the brief pause before transitioning to the next skill.

Mark of the Moon
- Changed the skill to activate on the targeted enemy.

Soul Surge
- Increased Attack Range from 13 m to 16 m.
- Increased attack area from 2.4 m to 3.5 m.
Dosa
Developer Commentary
Dosa was originally designed around two core strengths: powerful coordinated attacks with Cloud General through the Hwando weapon passive, and supporting himself and his allies through Elemental Generation from the Enlightened Blade weapon passive. However, increases to characters' Max HP and improvements to other classes' mobility following the Transcendent Class update have diminished his relative damage output and presence on the battlefield. With this update, we made adjustments to improve his combat capabilities and make his skills more effective in combat.
First, we improved Metal: Pour and rearranged its Skill Sigil slots.
Metal: Pour dealt solid damage, but its lengthy animation made it difficult to land every hit in PvP. We shortened the animations of its first and second attacks to make the skill more responsive. We also reduced its cooldown to improve the effectiveness of the Guardian Skill Sigil and allow the skill to be used more frequently.
We also adjusted the combos from Water: Weave or Winter Squall into Metal: Pour to transition directly into its third- and fourth-hit animations. The damage of the original four-hit sequence has been condensed into two hits, allowing the skill to deal its damage more effectively within a shorter period. We also added a combo from Four Seasons into Summer Breeze to provide a smoother combat flow.
As for the Skill Sigil slots, we found that the Radiant Skill Sigil slot had limited utility on the slower Metal: Pour, so we replaced it with a Defined Skill Sigil slot. The Radiant Skill Sigil slot was instead moved to Fire: Blaze, which has a short casting animation and can strike targets at mid-range. We did not consider Water: Weave, as it already activates instantly, or any of the Hwando skills, which are designed to deliver quick attacks through combos. Granting instant activation to a Hwando skill could disrupt Dosa's distinctive combo rhythm and make it harder to chain attacks and concentrate damage within a short window, ultimately limiting the usefulness of an equipped Radiant Skill Sigil. We therefore determined that placing the Radiant Skill Sigil slot on Fire: Blaze would best preserve his unpredictable attack patterns.
Second, we reinforced the unique characteristics of the Hwando passive and improved Cloud General's effectiveness in combat.
First, we increased the damage dealt by Cloud General while the Hwando passive is selected. This change addresses the reduced threat posed by coordinated attacks with Cloud General following increases to Adventurers' HP. However, we maintained the maximum damage cap to prevent excessive damage within certain ranges and preserve overall balance.
We also added a crowd control effect to help Cloud General land attacks now that all classes have greater mobility. Enemies hit by Glacial Fog receive Move Speed -25% for 3 sec, and Glacial Fog is now also created around Cloud General when he is summoned. This should help limit enemy movement and make coordinated attacks with Cloud General more reliable.
We hope these changes help Dosa establish a stronger presence on the battlefield. We'll continue to monitor his performance to ensure that he remains effective and enjoyable to play as the combat environment evolves.
- Changed the passive effect applied when Hwando is selected as follows:
- Damage based on the distance between Dosa and Cloud General:
ㆍBefore: 20%/40%/80%
ㆍAfter: 40%/60%/80%
- Added an effect that inflicts Move Speed -25% on nearby enemies for 3 sec when Glacial Fog is created.
- Glacial Fog is now also created when Cloud General is summoned.

Metal: Pour
- Adjusted the combo from Water: Weave or Winter Squall into Metal: Pour to transition more quickly into its third- and fourth-hit animations.
ㆍChanged Metal: Pour to deal its full four-hit damage over two hits when used in these combos.
