Skill Sigils: Convenience Improvements

- With "Auto-Equip," Sigils will be auto-equipped only to the skills placed in your skill slots.
- With "Import Skill Sigil Settings," you'll be able to bring over another Adventurer's setup even if the grades differ, as long as the effect is the same.

- Added a visual effect to the Equip Sigil button when the Skill Sigil inventory is closed.


- Added a visual effect to the Equip Sigil button when the selected Skill Sigil can be equipped.


- Updated the Skill Sigil system to display the following messages when no Skill Sigils are available.
ㆍNo Sigils in possession.
ㆍCraft Skill Sigils from the [Craft] menu.
ㆍCheck your [Inventory] for any unused Unidentified Skill Sigils.

 

O'dyllita

- Adjusted the Nebular-grade accessories obtainable in O'dyllita as follows during maintenance on Jul 14 (Tue).
ㆍKharazad Ring can be obtained in hunting zones starting at 95,000 CP.
ㆍLowered the CP requirements for hunting zones that drop other Kharazad accessories by 10,000 CP.

Fairy

Developer Commentary

Fairies are valuable companions who accompany Adventurers on their journeys,
but talking to them and completing their requests every day can sometimes feel like a chore.

With this update, we've made several improvements to make daily Fairy interactions less demanding
while helping growing Fairies progress more quickly.

Fairy Wishes and Talk now require less Curiosity.
Completing them just once a day will grant the same or more Trait points than before, and rewards such as Silver have also been increased.
We've also expanded the reward options available. Instead of receiving fixed rewards such as Exuberant Sunstone or Dawning Moonstone, you can now choose the Brooch material you want from Fairy's Reward.

If your Fairy gets depressed or repeatedly fails to Blossom after reaching the maximum Trait points,
you'll now earn more Twinkle, helping your Fairy move past these setbacks and resume its growth sooner.

Lastly, Fairies previously remained away for 8 hours for an adventure, making Fairy Play unavailable during that time.
We've significantly reduced dispatch and standby times so you can participate in Fairy activities more often.

We'll continue improving the Fairy experience in future updates.

 

- Streamlined Talk, Fairy Wish, and Adventure as follows.

- Reduced the daily Talk limit. (3 → 1)
ㆍAccordingly, Whispering Dew now restores 1 Talk attempt instead of 3.

ㆍWhen your Fairy's Traits are at the maximum, completing a Fairy Wish will reward 500 Twinkles and 500 Silver.

ㆍAny "Wish" daily attempts made between Jul 14 (Tue) 00:00 and the Jul 14 (Tue) maintenance will be reset, allowing you to participate one additional time after the maintenance.

Season 2

 

Developer Commentary

Our second season has arrived, following the Remastered Season.

 

This season 2 focuses on the Fairy, your trusted companion throughout your adventures.
As you progress through the season quests, you'll earn a variety of resources needed to develop your Fairy along the way.

 

The Remastered Season won't end when Season 2 begins.
Season 2 becomes available after you graduate from the Remastered Season, so if you're still working your way through it, you can jump into Season 2 once you graduate.

 

We're also making it easier to start a new season without having to create a new character each time.
With the new Season Character conversion feature, you can now turn a character already in your Family into a Season Character.
This gives you more flexibility in how you start and experience Season 2.

- Season 2 features Fairy Stories, where you can earn materials to help grow your Fairy.
- The Remastered Season and Season 2 can be completed at any time, even after future Seasons begin.

- Season 2 becomes available after completing the Remastered Season.

Developer Commentary

We identified an issue where certain effects were triggering more often than intended for some classes and reviewed similar effects across all classes.
As a result, we've adjusted these effects to work as intended.

For example, the 1,800 HP recovery effect on Striker's Energy Vacuum, Flow: Tempest Fangs was intended to recover 1,800 HP once per skill use.

However, during the development of the Transcendent Classes, the effect was implemented to trigger once for each target hit.
As a result, hitting five enemies at once could recover a total of 9,000 HP.


Since this resulted in significantly more HP recovery than intended, we've adjusted the effect to trigger once per skill use.


We recognize that these changes may affect how combat feels for some classes.
However, these changes are necessary to maintain overall balance and ensure that effects work as intended.


- Fixed an issue where the following effects were applied once for each target hit by a skill.

Developer Commentary

We investigated reports that certain movement skills didn't feel any faster while Berserk Blood was active.


We found that the speed increase from Berserk Blood was not being fully applied to some movement skills.

This update fixes the issue so these skills now receive the intended speed increase while Berserk Blood is active.

  

We'll continue reviewing combat behavior against the intended design.


- Fixed an issue where the "Skill Speed Increase" effect from "Berserk Blood" was only partially applied when using the following skills, causing them to activate more slowly than intended.

Developer Commentary

Since the Transcendent Classes update, we've been reviewing skill damage across all classes.
During this review, we identified several Giant and Shai skills whose damage did not align with their current combat flow or intended design and adjusted their values accordingly.
  

We'll continue reviewing skill performance to ensure each skill feels as powerful as intended.

- Fixed an issue where the effect of the Shudad Argent outfit was not displayed properly.

- Fixed an issue where Scrutiny of Enslar did not activate when comboing into Holy Thrust after Evasion, Radiant Burst, Divine Wrath, or Divine Guard.
- Improved an issue where using Divina Impetus could cause the character to move on top of a monster.

 

- Fixed an issue where Basic Attack was used even when Basic Attack auto-use was disabled.

 

- Fixed an issue where using Soul Reaver as a combo after Nightmare did not consume Shards of Darkness.

 

- Fixed an issue where the character would evade backward when approaching enemies with Auto Evasion enabled.

Developer Commentary

The 5-sec Forward Guard duration provided by Tamer's Dragon/Tortoise effects was already a powerful defensive tool,
even when Forward Guard and Rear Super Armor were more widely available across a variety of skills.

Since the Transcendent Classes update reduced the overall availability of Forward Guard and Rear Super Armor,
this effect has become even more impactful by comparison.
To keep it from becoming overly dominant, we are reducing the duration of Forward Guard.

However, we still want Dragon/Tortoise to retain its defensive identity and the durability it brings to combat. To preserve these strengths, we are adding an effect that reduces total damage taken from Adventurers.

This change reduces the reliance on Forward Guard while allowing Dragon/Tortoise to maintain the consistent defensive performance that defines it.


- Changed the duration of Forward Guard applied by the Dragon/Tortoise effect while using a Celestial Bo Staff. (5 sec → 2 sec)
ㆍAdded an effect that reduces Total Damage taken from Adventurers by 20% for 5 sec.
- Fixed an issue where Basic Attack was used even when Basic Attack auto-use was disabled.

 

 

- Changed the World Boss multiplier. (122.05% → 109.09%)

 

- Fixed an issue where the skill animation would occasionally stop during the additional attack of Mirage when the Radiant Skill Sigil effect that increases the skill's max charge by 1.

 

- Fixed an issue where a weapon was displayed incorrectly while mounted with a Shortsword equipped.
- Fixed an issue where Flashing Light did not activate immediately.

 

Developer Commentary

In the past, Nova and Eclipse each had a distinct identity: Nova excelled at defense, while Eclipse focused on fast-paced offense.

  

With the Transcendence update, we brought the strengths of both classes together as part of their remaster.
However, the combination proved more powerful than we intended, giving the class an outsized advantage in certain combat situations.
With this update, we're making several changes to bring its overall combat performance back in line.

  

First, we're adjusting the recovery amount of Star's Breath.
Transcendent Nova currently has enough sustain to keep her damage reduction effect active nearly at all times.

Similar to how Valkyrie's Smite works, Star's Breath recovery will now be limited while the effect is active.
This change is intended to reduce how often Nova can maintain her strongest state and create a more consistent pace of combat.

  

Next, we're making changes to Thorns of Punishment, Nova's grab skill.
Thorns of Punishment can grab enemies from a distance. Before Transcendence, Nova's playstyle centered around pressuring enemies with the Morning Star while maintaining a strong defense, so the skill was primarily used to disrupt the flow of combat.

  

Now, however, when paired with the Sting's high offensive power, she can pull enemies in from range and deal devastating damage almost immediately, leaving little room for counterplay.
To better define the role of the skill and further distinguish the playstyles of each weapon,
Thorns of Punishment will have its cooldown reduced by 10 sec when the Morning Star is selected, allowing the skill to be used at the same frequency as before.

 

- Added the following effect to the Sting weapon: "Combat Resource Recovery -200% while Breath of the Star is active.
- Added the following effect to the Morning Star weapon: "Thorns of Punishment cooldown -10 sec."

- Fixed an issue where the 100% increase to Combat Resource Recovery during Singularity Break was lower than intended when combined with other reduction effects.
ㆍAn icon will now appear when Combat Resource Recovery is restricted.
- Fixed an issue where the number of Star's Breath uses would reset during Singularity Break.
- Fixed an issue where the summoned Queen would inflict Knockdown when using Royal Fencing: Sweep.
- Fixed an issue where certain skills could not break debuffs during Boss Blitz.

Developer Commentary

Wizard has two skills that can inflict Knockback: Mana Echo and Water's Blessing.
 
However, Mana Echo repeats the previously used skill, making it difficult to apply Knockback exactly when needed.
Water's Blessing, as a Rabam skill, also has a relatively long cooldown, making it difficult to rely on for Knockback.
 
With this update, we've changed the effect on the first hit of Voltaic Pulse to Knockback, giving Wizard a more reliable way to apply the effect.
This should give Wizard more consistent access to Knockback in combat.

- Fixed an issue where Gravity Press could be comboed into after the Recoil animation had ended.
- Fixed an issue where Core Actuation would not activate when using Gravity Field under certain conditions.

ㆍTeleport is not applied when Flow: Translocation is used as a follow-up to Gravity Anchor

 

- Fixed an issue where Adventurers' Specters would use Snapshot repeatedly.

 

- Fixed an issue where the character would occasionally roll after Grave Sundering.
- Fixed an issue where only basic attacks were used when Auto-Combat was activated after summoning your horse while in normal state.

Upcoming Updates

- The available entry count and first-clear rewards for Trials of Ator: Elite will be reset during the Jul 21 (Tue) maintenance.


- During maintenance on Jul 28 (Tue), the Rift leading to Nightmare: Jade Starlight Forest will close, and the Rift leading to Nightmare: Sunken Ruins will open.
