Previously at the Calpheon Ball, we showcased graphic overhauls
such as realistic graphics featuring improved metal textures and water reflections,
improved shadow quality, and double viewing distance.
This GM Note will feature a peek at the additional graphic improvements
that were not announced at the Calpheon Ball!
Let's get into the details, shall we?
Previously, if another object or wall came between the character and the camera,
all connected walls would be temporarily removed to provide visibility.
This often caused nearby objects to disappear and reappear as the character moved.
After the remaster, only the walls actually blocking the character
from the camera will become transparent,
retaining the surrounding structures to provide a more natural viewing experience.
Forest, trees, and grass play huge roles in the background of Black Desert Mobile.
Illustrating these objects in detail was resource-heavy,
so we improved how the background is rendered in-game with the remaster.
Now, background objects such as trees or grass require fewer resources to render.
With the reduced device workload when loading backgrounds
while preserving graphic quality, you'll be able to enjoy
the game in a much smoother gameplay environment.
