Featured Updates - New Region, North Kamasylvia

Developer Commentary:

Beyond the Loopy Tree Forest in West Kamasylvia lies zones deep within, untouched by spirits, shrouded in an ominous ashen fog.

In the new zones, invisible entities become visible, and unknown specters threaten the living.

It is said that some monsters native to Kamasylvia have inhaled this ashen fog, become separated from their kind, and have inexplicably grown significantly stronger for reasons unknown.





- Added the new region North Kamasylvia.
ㆍ You can move to "Shady Fog Forest Path" from "Ashen Fog Origin" in West Kamasylvia.
ㆍ No new Knowledge was added with the North Kamasylvia update.

Class

Developer Commentary:

The recent balance updates have primarily focused on classes that showed relatively low performance in specific content, those that were released a while ago, or those lacking in PvP damage, relative to other classes.

For some classes, the effect of increased Combat Resources led to excessively powerful performance. Therefore, this balance adjustment is aimed at balancing these aspects among all classes.

While the rate at which Combat Resources accumulate at the start of combat remains the same, there is now a delay in the recovery of Combat Resources after using them in an attack. This requires you to be more cautious about timing your attacks than before.

However, to compensate for this new delay in PvE, we have also increased the damage of skills to improve sustainability.

Additionally, for classes that felt lacking in damage when facing bosses, we have increased the damage of their commonly used attack skills.

Even after this update, we plan to continue approaching balance adjustments from multiple angles and maintain each class's unique characteristics, while minimizing differences in efficiency.

Furthermore, considering that classes use various Combat Resources, such as MP, Sacred Power and passive skill effects, we are also preparing a UI update to make these elements more intuitive.


- Field bosses refer to Chaos Muraka, Ahib's Griffon, Katzvariak, and Tukar Laytenn, and do not include Black Shrine bosses.

Descending Tide (Succession Skill)
- Improved Damage Reduction to trigger while jumping while "Tide Slasher" is active (Not applied in Arena).
- Improved to combo into "Smooth Sailin'" while "Tide Slasher" is active.

- Added "Combat Resource Recovery Efficiency -100%" to trigger while "Smite" is active.

Star Heart
- Decreased Star's Breath stacks required to trigger "Singularity Break" (from 4 to 2).
- Star's Breath stacks while "Singularity Break" is active does not refresh the usage requirement for "Singularity Break."





- Reduced damage dealt against Field bosses.




Blood Harvest
- Reduced the "Recover HP" effect (10% → 5%).






Therianthropy
- Reduced the efficacy of the "Heal HP every 5 sec for 30 sec" effect of "Therianthropy" (3% → 1.5%).





- Reduced damage dealt against Field bosses.





Spiteful Soul
- Improved to only trigger during auto-combat when at the minimum distance required for casting the skill during Dragonblood while "Flow: Tip of the Scale" is active.





Savage Decree
- Improved to transition into the next motion after the first hit.





Dragon Flight
- Decreased the "Reduce Cooldown" effect (Decrease by 3 sec → Decrease by 2 sec).







Savage Decree (Succession Skill)
- Improved to transition into the next motion after the first hit.

 

Improvements

- Improved to display the total points earned from the results screen in practice mode.
- Changed the design of the Capotia participation window.
- Changed Capotia Practice Mode to end when there are no participants remaining.

- Changed the requirement to earn the title "Master of the Great Ocean" for the World Boss "Khan."
· Achieve Lv 2 Knowledge of World Boss Khan

 

- Improved Black Spirit Mode time to accrue even in the Guild Fortress, Black Shrine, and Black Shrine Practice Mode.
- Changed the completion requirement for Season Pass quests in North Valencia/West Valencia to align with the Adventure Log.
- Changed the visual effects for Memory Imprints for self to no longer display.

 

- Improved the guild ping feature to be accessible in normal zones even when a guild war is not in progress.
- Changed to only display the Family name of the target Adventurer when the settings are off for displaying other Adventurers' Family names.
- Their Family name will only display when you set them as the target again once you are at a certain distance from them or move locations.
- Improved to be able to distinguish between each success rate if they differ for each material used from the Gear Preview screen.
- Separated the MP Recovery and Combat Resource Recovery effects on Memory Imprints and changed them to be more intuitive.
- Improved the camera angle to adjust to the character's eye level when zooming in on a Shai from the inventory screen.

 

Error Fixes

- [Gladiator] Fixed an issue where the transition from "Heavy Strike" to "Scars of Dusk" was missing in the skill combos list.
- [Phantasma] Fixed an issue where the skin color would change depending on the weapon display settings while wearing the Academia Outfit.
- [Eclipse] Fixed an issue where the visual effects of "Quillion Release" would not follow the character.
- Fixed an issue where equipping the [Parthenoa] Outfit on Guardian or Solaris while selecting the [Ornament] from Preview Gear would make parts of the Helmet appear midair.

 

- Fixed an issue where debuffs such as Burn would still display effects even after the Apex Changui disappeared.
- Fixed an issue where, at times, characters would not be flown into the air when grabbed by Sangoon.
- Fixed an issue where, at times, target lock would be deactivated during Oduksini's final attack pattern.
- Fixed an issue where it was not possible to deal damage during specific situations in Oduksini's final attack pattern.

 

- Fixed an issue where certain visual effects would appear abnormal from the "Mission: Agitated Mountains" cutscene.
- Fixed an issue where additional Tigerslayer units appeared during the "The Tigerslayers Are Here!" quest cutscene.
- Fixed an issue where, at times, the character could not exit the Ramoness Arena when it ended if they were unable to take action.
- Fixed an issue in Eilton Defense where the character could teleport to an inaccessible area beyond a door using the teleport skill.
- Fixed an issue where the character would enter the next Guild Rush while unable to take action during Auto-Rush.
- Fixed an intermittent issue where large monsters could abnormally mount while riding horses, Heuklang, etc.
- Fixed an issue where, at times, the character would circle in the same spot when auto-pathing.
- Fixed an issue where the character could not set sail to the Great Ocean in certain situations due to a change in the Story Progress Requirement.

 

- Revised some typos that appear on the number pad when using multiple items at once.
- Fixed an issue where the incorrect dialog would appear in certain missions.
