Class Balancing
Developer Commentary:
As we’ve mentioned in our Development Progress notice, we are constantly discussing how to strengthen the defining traits of each class. We believe that the characteristics of classes become most apparent when the gameplay matches their appearance and core concepts. Reinforcing this sync between gameplay and character design was our main goal in this update. The first three classes that caught our attention were Primrose, Nova, and Grandmaster.
Primrose specializes in slowing down enemies to gain the upper hand in battle. Her strengths, however, would only apply when she successfully lands certain skills on the enemy. In this update, we enhanced her defining trait by adding a passive effect that allows her to slow down nearby enemies whenever she uses a skill.
Next, Nova is designed to be a commander who summons soldiers to assist her in battle, while she stands strong in the frontline with her giant Quoratum. We improved the buffs from "Command: Frost Shield," that previously only applied to allies, to now apply to herself as well, and we tweaked them to better support her role as a trusty tank on the frontlines. Additionally, we improved the usefulness of her summons by giving each summon a unique effect.
Lastly, Grandmaster specializes in blocking enemy attacks with the skill "Shoulder Thrust" then unleashing powerful counterattacks. In this update, we enhanced this gameplay style by improving the benefits that are given from successfully blocking attacks with "Shoulder Thrust," and enhanced the damage and range of skills that can be chained right after.
We will continue to improve each class' distinct characteristics in Black Desert Mobile.
Primrose
Frost Flower
- Apply "Biting Cold" to nearby enemies upon using skills

Developer Commentary:
For Adventurers with a low Black Spirit level, we rebalanced the daily Black Spirit Quest and Login rewards.
We expected these rewards to help newer Adventurers jump-start their journey, but so far they've proven to be not as significant as we had hoped.
Because of this, we improved the rewards at low Black Spirit levels to help Adventurers progress every day.
We will continue to make further improvements even after this update.
- Increased the amount of login rewards and changed certain rewards.

- Improved Elephants in Siege/Node War to continuously attack when the attack button is held.
- Improved Guild Rush to display a warning message that mentions you cannot receive more Elite Tokens when trying to summon a Normal Guild Boss with the max amount of Elite Tokens already in your inventory.
- Improved Great Temples so they can be auto-pathed by tapping on them from the World Map.
- Changed the design of the Create Character button from the character selection screen.
- Improved [Wealth/Resources → Social Token → Pearl Shop] to take you to the Pearl Shop with the "#Social Token Items" tag selected.
