Greetings, Adventurers!

I am Youngmin Cho, the Lead Producer of Black Desert Mobile.

I am writing this developer letter in celebration of the 100th day of service since the launch of Black Desert Mobile.

For those who may not know, in Korean culture the 100th day of an event is an important milestone.

I would like to take this opportunity today to thank our Adventurers,

look back on the last 100 days of adventures in Black Desert Mobile, discuss more in-depth about the Ramoness championship, and share details about a special update.

① 100 Days of Adventures in Black Desert Mobile

Black Desert Mobile was first released in English through a soft launch in 7 countries on October 24, 2019.

A demo version of Black Desert Mobile was also presented at 'Into the Abyss' and the TwitchCon event in the US.

We considered all the feedback we received and the result of the FGT as we prepared for the game. We also placed a strong focus on the quality of the localization.

The global version of Black Desert Mobile offically launched in 150 countries and finally answered the call of the countless #GlobalWhen tags on December 11, 2019.

Last Thursday, March 19, marked the 100th day of service since its launch.

During the past 3 months, we have developed and released a total of 16 pieces of content, both small and large alike. These include the new class Sorceress, Ascension, relics and lightstone content, and the event dungeon, among others.

After the official launch, we have received positive messages and feedback in various languages, which has been a boon to the development team. We were touched by the feedback and the sheer number of Adventurers that have enjoyed playing our game.

We were able to improve and enhance the gameplay experience thanks to the feedback and support from our Adventurers.

We are especially thankful for the constructive feedback we have received from our Adventurers.

Thanks to this, some of what we have accomplished includes: 1) Removal of graphic option limits 2) Suggestion to add heal skills 3) Addition of the option to install the game on external storage 4) Changed Node War times 5) Addition of free Black Pearl pets

We also added a feature for the global version where Silver could be used to purchase Black Pearls, allowing Adventurers to enjoy more content in the game. This is the first time we implemented such a feature, though we believe it has greatly improved gameplay, evidenced by a noticable increase in activity in the market.

By assessing feedback from Adventurers, we were able to improve various aspects of gameplay.

We will continue to closely listen to the community and do our best to provide the best gameplay experience possible.

② Ramoness Championship

Beginning in mid-February, the first Ramoness championship continued for 6 weeks. The championship kicked off with a round of 64 and concluded with the finals via live-stream last week.

It was more difficult than we thought to carry out, as it was the first time we held a championship in 3 regions. However, we were grateful for the support of our many Adventurers.

We are also considering the importance of PvP and will continue to improve and develop PvP content. We are planning to hold a second or third championship in the future. Be sure to keep your PvP skills sharp!

③ Announcement of a Special Update

We have added the most popular class in the Black Desert IP, the Dark Knight, in today's update. We hope you enjoy playing the Dark Knight!

We are also excited to announce that Portuguese has been added in today's update. Because of the large number of quests and NPCs, it took longer than we expected to prepare.

In addition, Adventurers will be able to participate in the many epic events that we've prepared.

We hope you continue to enjoy playing Black Desert Mobile. We will continue to diligently listen to the community. If there is anything you would like to share, please feel free to leave your feedback on our official forum or SNS.

We would like to thank our Adventurers once again for your support. We will do our best to provide the best gameplay experience possible!
