Article 2. Official Rules Agreement and Revisions

2.1 Agreement to the Official Rules

2.1.1 To participate in the championship, participants must agree to the Official Rules.

2.1.2 Participants who have joined the championship are deemed to have read and agreed to follow the Official Rules.

2.1.3 "Participants" refer to those who register and attend the Black Desert Mobile Karkea Arena championship.

2.2 Application and Revision of the Official Rules

2.2.1 These regulations apply to the fundamental rules related to the Black Desert Mobile Karkea Arena Championship. However, the detailed rules will be applied in accordance with the competition notices on the official forums.

2.2.2 The organizers may update, revise, or supplement the Official Rules according to the latest game version or upon discovery of other unfair circumstances.

2.2.3 Participants are obligated to regularly check and acknowledge the Official Rules and Match Rules, and are responsible for any inconvenience caused by their lack of understanding.

2.2.4 Participation in the championship signifies agreement to the revised rules.

2.2.5. In the event of a situation not covered by the Official Rules or competition notices, the organizers may decide on measures to ensure the normal operation of the competition.

Article 3. Eligibility

3.1 All participants who wish to compete in the Black Desert Mobile Karkea Arena Championship must meet the following requirements. If you do not meet these qualifications as of the registration deadline of 00:00 on Saturday, April 8th (KST), you will not be able to participate in the competition.

3.1.1 Participants must possess a Family (account) that is capable of accessing the content of the competition in which they wish to participate.

3.1.2 Participants with a history of exploiting in-game content and systems within the last six months and have received penalties that restrict their game access will not be eligible to participate in the competition.

3.1.3 Participants may not use inappropriate words or phrases in their character names or Family name. The determination of inappropriateness is subject to the Black Desert Mobile Operation Policy, and if such cases are confirmed, they may be changed by the championship organizers.

Article 4. Live Broadcast and Streaming

4.1 The game content of the Black Desert Mobile Karkea Arena Championship may be livestreamed by the organizers.

4.1.1 Participants who have joined the competition are considered to have read and agreed to the above.

4.1.2 The organizers will not be held responsible for any disadvantages caused by the real-time disclosure of game content.

4.2 Participants may livestream their own gameplay online.

4.2.1 However, the participant is responsible for any disadvantages he or she may suffer as a result of streaming their own gameplay live, and the match result will not be overturned.

Article 5. Match Rules

5.1 All competitions will be played on the latest version of the service that reflects updates made during the championship.

5.2 Rematches will not be held when any known issues, network connection issues, or issues that occur under specific circumstances arise during the championship.

5.2.1 This also applies to any issue that affects individual participants rather than the overall progression of the match.

5.2.2 However, if the organizers judge that the match cannot proceed, the match may be declared invalid, and a rematch may be held.

5.2.3 Even if technical issues occur, the match will continue.

5.3 Participants must complete all necessary preparations and be ready to start the match as announced beforehand.

5.3.1 Participants are responsible for any disadvantage or consequences of non-compliance with this rule.

5.3.2 Failure to log in or accept an invitation within 5 minutes after the scheduled start time of the match on the day of the competition may result in disqualification.

5.3.3 If the organizers repeatedly ask the participant to complete the preparation for the start of the match and the participant does not comply, the participant will be automatically disqualified from the match, and the participant will be held responsible for the results.

5.4 If a participant has any objection to the organizers’ decision, they may file an appeal via the championship Discord server after the match has ended.

5.4.1 Appeals must be made immediately after the end of the match and before the start of the next participant match.
5.5 Fairness during the Match - The timer in the Arena located in the middle of the HP bar will count from 2:05. Once it reaches 2:00, both participants may start the match (execution of skills/buffs/etc or any strategy whether to go offensive of defensive)
5.5.1 Anyone caught moving before 2:00 will automatically be void and a re-match will be made. (Updated 4/14 02:00)

Article 6. Participant Code of Conduct

6.1 All participants, organizers, and other personnel in the competition must respect each other and display good sportsmanship.

6.2 Participants should check the competition schedule, as well as all necessary preparations for the competition to run smoothly, and actively cooperate to ensure the successful running of the event.

6.3 Participants must comply with the organizers’ instructions and accept their decisions.

6.4 Participants must be fully prepared before the start of the match.

6.5 Participants are encouraged to avoid changing their Family name during the competition to ensure smooth participation in the event.

6.5.1 If a participant changes his or her Family name during the event, they must inform the organizers through the championship Discord server.

6.6 Participants are asked to refrain from the following actions, and measures such as warnings and restrictions may be taken at the discretion of the organizers when these actions occur:

6.6.1 Disobeying the organizers’ instructions.

6.6.2 Using profanity or other forms of verbal abuse.

6.6.3 Unsportsmanlike behavior, such as intentionally provoking an opponent through in-game chat, etc.

6.6.4 Using and abusing system errors and bugs.

6.6.5 Utilizing unauthorized programs.

6.6.6 Manipulating the game in any form.

6.6.7 Engaging in bad faith, such as purposefully avoiding combat.

6.6.8 Intentionally giving an advantage to an opponent or causing a disadvantage to a participant on the same team.

6.6.9. Participating in the competition through someone else's account or character in exchange for real-world cash, goods, or services.

Article 7. Actions for Rule Violation

7.1 Upon violation of any of these rules, the organizers may take actions such as warning, chat ban, disqualification, modification of the match results, and forfeiture of the winner's qualification or rewards.

7.1.1 If a violation of the rules is confirmed during the competition, the organizers may issue a warning to the participant. After accumulating two warnings, the participant will be disqualified from the match.

7.1.2 If abusive language or verbal abuse is detected in the championship chat, the participant in question will be issued a warning and a 1-day in-game chat ban will be imposed.

7.1.3 If a participant is disqualified for violating any of these rules, he or she will not be given rewards and will be excluded from the final ranking. If the disqualified participant had advanced to the quarter-finals or higher, the ranking of the next highest participant will be automatically raised by one step. However, the ranking of participants that have not advanced to the quarter-finals will not change.

7.2 Matters not specified in these regulations will follow the [Black Desert Mobile Operational Policy].

7.3 In the case of a situation that hinders the progress of a match that is not referenced in this article, appropriate measures may be taken according to the judgment of the organizers.
