The Patch Notes for the update on Sep 20 (Tuesday) are here!

In this update, we’ve added new content, events, bug fixes, and overall improvements to the game.
See below for more details about this update.

Developer's Comment

Since the final battle against Illezra, the Chaos that permeated the world is losing its vigor, though the scars left behind by Chaos still linger.


The mountain range of Drieghan is no exception. What remains is a new Chaos Rift, still rife with unstable Chaos Energy.


The zone not only has an energy more powerful than any in the Chaos Rifts discovered until now, but it effuses the Draconic Curse. No mortal dares set foot in the rift.


However, Adventurers who have Chaos Energy within them may be able to unravel the secrets hidden in the new rift.


New power is needed to withstand Chaos Energy and the Draconic Curse to avoid being corrupted. Venture into the rift with your harmonious powers, and fight against the dark powers trying to take control.

 

Chaos Rift IV



- Khalk Stone Valley (Chaos Rift IV) has been added.
- You can enter Khalk Stone Valley through Khalk Stone Valley Entrance.
- The required CP for Chaos Rift IV is 40,000. You are only granted entry if you meet the CP requirement.
- There's a higher chance to obtain certain items, including [Root of Sorcery], from Spoils of Battle in Chaos Rift IV than in Chaos Rift III.
- You can obtain [[Primal] Accessory Chest] from Chaos Rift IV.
- Some items you can obtain from Chaos Rift IV differ from items obtainable from Chaos Rift III.
- Hot Time items and Server Hot Time effects will not be applied in Chaos Rifts I, II, III, and IV.
- Draconic Curse effect will be applied upon entering Chaos Rift IV.

Draconic Curse Effects - Crit Rate -5% 
- Crit Damage -20% 
- All Branch Damage -5% 
- Move/Attack Speed -3% 

 

Unity Shield



- [Unity Shield] is required to enter Chaos Rift IV.
ㆍThe effect of each [Unity Shield] will last 30 minutes.
- You can craft [Unity Shield] via [Craft - Process] with [Harmony Scroll] x1 and [Stone of Disorder] x1.
- You can purchase up to 20 [Stone of Disorder] per week using Silver from Chaos Rift Watchers located at the entrances of each of the following Chaos Rifts: Titium Gorge, Pila Ku Execution Room, Mirumok Primeval Forest, Khalk Stone Valley.

Ring of Vehemence



- Added [Ring of Vehemence] that can be equipped on the ring slot.
ㆍYou can craft [Ring of Vehemence] via the [Craft - Gear - Etc. - Chaos Accessory] menu.

ㆍEnhancements, enchantments, and Ah'krad Crystals will be kept upon craft.
ㆍLike [Chaos Ring], [Ring of Vehemence] can also be enhanced by using Primal-grade Caphras Rings as materials.
ㆍThe CP from [Ring of Vehemence] is the same as other Chaos-grade rings across all enhancement levels.
- You can craft an awakened [Ring of Vehemence] by using an awakened [Chaos Ring] or [Ring of Frenzy] as the material.
ㆍ[Ring of Vehemence] can be awakened by spending [Chaos Jewel] x4.

Item Acquisition
Shattered Ring of Vehemence Chance to drop from Twisted Nightmare IV: Turaka damage ranking rewards


- On hit, there's a certain chance to summon Uraka Specter for a certain time to attack nearby enemies.
- The [Ring of Vehemence] effect will not be triggered in equal duel content such as Hero of Karkea and Normal Arena.
- The effect of [Ring of Vehemence] will only be triggered when equipped on your current character.
ㆍThe ring effect will not be triggered when equipped on another character in your Family and not on your current character during Family content (Path of Glory, Constellation, Temple of Luinass).

Developer's Commentary

Buccaneer proudly embarked on a journey with the Slippery Scallywags, only for unexpected difficulties to bring her down.


She set off on her journey with confidence, but the enemies encountered were quite strong, and she failed to display notable performance compared to her allies. The Slippery Scallywags couldn't bear to just watch and do nothing for their glum Cap'n! Buccaneer's reliable supporters strengthened the power of her main weapon, the Patraca. They also became a more powerful force when assembling through sheer determination.


We hope Buccaneer can restore her dignity as captain with this surprise gift from the Slippery Scallywags.

Developer's Commentary

Kunoichi has played an active role as an assassin with her fast mobility, skill combos, and stealth effects.


She can throw her enemies into disarray with her fluid movements and threaten them with fixed damage attacks. Her damage lacked in PvE, however, leading to a relatively low performance.


With this update, we increased the PvE damage of skills that are effective against monsters, such as "Shadow Stitch," "Shadow Plume," "Rain of Steel," "Shadow Geyser," and "Cripple."

Developer's Commentary

Grandmaster's skill damage and combos were improved with the last update. His attacks became more powerful with the improvement, but gameplay became rather dull as all of his skills had to be used in combos.


"Flow: Tempest Fangs" was added to "Energy Vacuum" with this update to add a wider variety of skill combos to choose from and to diversify gameplay patterns. Also, we increased the attack speed of "Hell Sweep" to make it possible to combo into other skills more quickly.


Like the sharpened fangs of a wolf ready to pounce, all will fear the newfound glory of the Grandmaster.

Developer's Commentary

There are many Adventurers who choose other skill enhancement branches over the Serrett branch due to its low efficiency.


To improve upon the current situation where our Adventurers are avoiding a particular branch, we decided to balance the Serrett branch to increase its use by adding HP recovery to the Serrett branch effect.


However, since there is the possibility of only choosing the Serrett branch if the HP recovery was too high, we balanced it so that it wouldn't significantly change the gameplay style of our Adventurers.


- Added "Recover 1.5% HP" to take effect when using skills with the Serrett branch applied.

- [Sura] Fixed an issue where "Afterimage" couldn't be used after "Twin Dragon" if it wasn't immediately comboed.
- [Sura] Fixed an issue where "Knock-up on 1st hit" would be triggered upon using "Desire to Kill: Twin Dragon."
- [Berserker] Fixed an issue where branch damage would not be applied when using "Crimson Cyclone: Flow: Steel Tempest" repeatedly.
- [Legatus] Fixed an issue where the "Bound on last hit" effect on "Imprison" was not applying.

- [Lancer] Fixed an issue where the "Blessing of Enslar" effect would not be triggered for "Divine Guard."
- [Sage] Fixed an issue where the actual skill damage and description of "Spatial Collapse" would differ when used after Evasion or "Wormhole."
- [Phantasma, Void Knight] Fixed an issue where your character's legs would appear abnormal when mounting with the "Stellan" outfit equipped.
- [Reaper, Raven] Fixed an issue where the weapon ON/OFF feature would not work properly with the "Splat Fisher's Clothes" equipped.

- Changed the weekly victory reward limit from 5 times to 3 times.
- Due to the aforementioned change, the currency required for entry and the quantity of items obtainable from victory were increased.
- The Battlefield effect triggered based on the currency spent will remain the same.

Fairy

- Added to display the type of trait that either decreases or increases depending on each of the answer choices when using [Bond - Talk] with a "Vivid" or higher-grade Fairy.
- Added a hexagonal chart of trait stats to be displayed on the right side of the screen after talking via [Bond - Talk].
- Improved to display the daily study limit on the bottom of the list of items from the [Bond - Study] UI.
ㆍIf your fairy reached the daily study limit, the quantity, Curiosity, and Intellect values of the selected item will all be set to 0.
- Improved visibility of the cooldown for the Fairy skill "Auto-Pickup: Desert Loot & Oyster."
- Added a message that directs you to the "Fairy Skills" menu when attempting [Bond - Study] when Intellect is at max.
- Added a message that directs you to the [Bond - Study] menu when tapping Learn, Enhance, or Equip buttons from the "Fairy Skills" menu with not enough Intellect.
- Improved the Fairy icon to display information of the current "Adventure" in progress when tapped.

- Improved the items available for registration in your Collection to be selected when the notification for item registration is displayed.
- Improved to display an indication on the top of unacquired Character, Adventure, and Academics Knowledges all around the world of Black Desert Mobile.
- Changed the "Zoom Lock" feature to not be applied in towns.
- Improved zoom to be adjustable when taking screenshots even when Zoom Lock is enabled.
- Improved screen shake effects from Auto-Combat to not trigger during character customization.
- Added "Owned" to be displayed for classes you already own when creating a character with "Lv 60 Character Generator Coupon.'
- Improved the relevant skill enhancement to be applied for equal duel content: Normal Arena, Hero of Karkea, and Watch Mode for Ramoness.
- Improved to move to the crafting method for the selected gear when moving to the Craft menu from CP Analysis Suggestion.
- Improved tutorial skips to display a message stating the tutorial cannot be viewed again if skipped.

- Fixed an issue where the CP from Memory Album was not listed in [Character Info - CP Breakdown].
- Fixed an issue where the fairy would be displaced in Fairy Playtime and Adventure in certain screen resolutions.
- Fixed an issue in [Fairy > Bond > Wish] where moving to a different tab would open the Wish UI if the trait increase chart on the right that appears after completing a wish hadn't disappeared yet .

UI

- Fixed an issue where the hands of Striker classes would appear invisible when fishing with Armor Outfits equipped.
- Fixed an issue where the nose part of "Metal Piercing" would appear extended when equipped on Lahn.
- Fixed an issue where the Auto-Play notification pop-up in Mission areas was displaced.
- Fixed an issue where Adventurers without entry items would appear to be ready after completing certain party content.
